I know that this was probably discussed somewhere but...

Why have all of my hubs been completely deleted except maybe 20 of them out of over 500? Just wondering.  If they were unpublished I would get it, ie: I dont belong here any more... but completely wiped out? It's showing my traffic at 178 today.

Check your profile settings. You have to check the box to have all your hubs appear now. Otherwise only the featured hubs appear in your profile, the rest become invisible.

Thanks, That Grrl...I checked my profile and only the featured were showing...lol....can't keep up with the changes...and I wonder how long that has been so...probably since the changes to profile...so now I am expecting a major flurry of activity.  (tongue in cheek)

Thanks Mary for noticing! Maybe others should check their profiles and perhaps HubPages will have increased views. No?

No.  How many people ever look at your profile?

I've chosen to make idled Hubs visible on my profile because (a) I can find no evidence that will do any harm, whatever HubPages thinks and (b) I want to highlight my Hubbing-related Hubs for the benefit of newbies - and they are idled.

However, I don't expect that showing all my idled Hubs on my profile will do much for my traffic, because in general, only members of our little HubPages community ever look at profiles.

I agree,  I figure if I wrote them and have them showing, at least they are available for anyone checking the profile. I usually scroll down the list of Hubs of  other Hubbers when I visit  their profile and often visit Hubs that way rather than just current or popular ones. It is a great way of catching up on reading Hubbers I follow since I enjoy their writing and can't read all the Hubs as they come out and  often block some time and visit profiles to catch up on new and old Hubs!  So no harm done and people like me do go and look at them... so display them please!

Now you've got us all checking our hubs.
I know they don't want to dump you-- of all people.

I know they posted a special link that would show only the hubs with RSS Feeds in the Stats window. Is it possible that you were viewing that and only have about 20 hubs with the RSS Module? That is all I can come up with.

I bet you're right. But they came back by themselves?  I haven't checked my account much because a have 2 clients that ... well I wrote over 140 articles in the last month. hmm Good for the wallet but I dont get time to deal with my own stuff...

It still says that you have over 500 hubs. Are they really deleted or just lack the featured symbol next to it?

That sounds a bit like the time a few months ago when many people were showing negative numbers of views.  Hope it's all back to normal now, Marye.

And there was me thinking my hubs and my written work would always be here and safe. Not so. This is worrying. Marye you have my sympathy. Your face I recognize from Hub Pages sign in page where you have been featured for some months. I hope you have hubs backed up somewhere and that hub pages have a adequate answer or explanation for this.
