With the RSS module disappearing it would be really useful to have a Links Widget.
Essentially I would be able to create a template with links in it (for example links to all my Cat Name hubs) - I could then keep on adding new hubs within this template (or even be able to add to them when creating new hubs). Once created I could then use this template on any hub.
This would allow me to create twenty hubs on Cat Names and only have to maintain the one template - it would automatically update).
This is a manual way of doing it - uses a text capsule so that its not endangered.

The thing you describe is essentially a RSS if its updated. Good luck on getting it developed!
Yep - but it's an extension to the widget that already exists -just customizable - would also allow us to put the widget on other sites too.
The other advantage would be that I only have to update the widget once - rather than having to update all 20 hubs....
Effectively it's adding the ability to add "Default sort" with user-defined sorts - and then adding the ability of including these on hubs....
Not at the moment - it's a JavaScript app so I'm not sure if HP would allow this to be added.
However, something simpler - like your idea of having a text list of links - but allowing it to be saved and updated on 'all' hubs would definitely help....
Another option would be able to list all Hubs in 'Groups' Vertically allowing for more Hubs to be listed - rather than the two choices at the bottom.
Or let us choose the 'Discover More Hubs' section when creating hubs - again we could select from templates!!!
Good luck! Sounds like what the RSS did that was dumped!
I like the idea of modifying the Hub Groups feature to allow you to link to more Hubs. Basically expanding what is now a next/prev group navigation to more of a complete list of the whole group. Do you think that would that work for the issue your describing?
I think that would definately be a good compramise - and give us a little bit more control of what is viewed below - can you give options for us to choose how many - any number up to all? Some people may be happy with 2, some may want 6, I may want them all!
Would you want to control that number on a Hub Group or Hub basis? Like, would you always want to include 6 Cat Names Hubs on any Hubs that are in that group? Or would you want some Hubs in the group to have 6 and others to have 2?

After a little more testing we've just opened up another new feature that went out yesterday -- a HubPages widget that you can add to your blog or website. To grab the code, just go to your profile page and you should see a link in the right hand column. You can see an example of it in action...

The title says it all - just do it , the topics are often unprofessional, the discussions are never on topic and as a basically unmoderated area of the site they should not be appearing on our carefully crafted hubs.Remove the forum widget from all hubs!!!! also "related questions" should...

I just discovered at least one of my unpublished hubs appeared at the bottom of one of my published hubs, in the area where the site loads hubs we have written on similar topics. I reported this to admin but wanted to mention it here in case it will get spotted and fixed more quickly. ...
