Does anyone play Black Ops or Black Ops 2? Which do you like better and why? I personally don't have a favorite as like certain aspects of both.  I love the new shotguns and maps in Black Ops 2, but I miss the quickscoping and killstreaks of Black Ops.  Scorestreaks in Black Ops 2 annoy me, as I've go on 12 killstreaks only to get a lightning strike or such.

(P.S. - You can just refer to the two games as BO and BO2, as it's a lot easier and quicker to type.)

How's it going? Yeah, I play both Black Ops (BO) and BO2. I definitely prefer BO2 because the new maps tend to prevent bad spawning; however, there is NO place to post up and defend. I'm not talking about camping and sitting in a corner with a shotgun--I hate when people do this. I mean guarding half the map with your team. Kinda like the map "Rundown" on Modern Warfare (MW) 2.

I do agree with you about the killstreaks. It's close to impossible to get the top killstreak, and I've never seen anyone get it. The highest I've gone is 16 kills, and this is hard enough. As for the quick scoping (I LOVE quick scoping), BO2 allows you to quick scope as well. You have to customize it in a way that allows you to zoom quickly.

But the point system for the killstreaks is quite smart because when you get UAV or counter UAV, and your teammates get kills, you get points to help you out with your killstreaks. This is a feature I definitely admire. I think the only reason almost no one can get a high killstreak is all due to the maps. They are just poorly made, but BO2 maps are still better than BO maps.

I think MW2 is just the best out of all the BOs, MWs, and Battlefield games. I still play this game more than any of the others.

I liked the multiplayer mode in BO1 better.  I played a lot of capture the flag in BO1.  The maps in BO2 have too many possible routes.  Defending is difficult.  The also have a lot of camping spots. So it makes more sense to camp a random spot, then to defend your flag. It is team death match with a flag on both ends.

I like the zombie mode for BO2 better. The maps allow for unlimited strategy.  The build-able items are a lot of fun - catapulting zombies with your trampoline never gets old. It also has a better feel.  I can't really explain this well, but I played an old map on BO1 and it felt different. You feel like you are stabbing through air in BO1, but can feel your melee hit in BO2.

Personally I like BO2 better.  I do not necessarily have a lot of justification for this.  I think to me it is just a lot of little things that add up to give me a better experience.
