Accolades not real time (applied within 24 hours)

   Have I missed an announcement about accolades being scrapped? I have recently posted my 10th Hub, but still do not have the corresponding accolade showing on my profile.
   
   Anyone else having similar problems?

      Perhaps they have done away with that accolade and perhaps your expectations are too low, when you have published your 100 article get back to us if they haven't posted that accolade.

      The accolade won't show up until a day or two later. In the meantime, congrats for reaching your tenth hub!

      @writinglover's statement is accurate.
      From the FAQ:
      "Please note: Accolades are not awarded immediately upon reaching a Milestone. There may be a short delay (up to 24 hours or so) before a new Accolade appears on your profile."

            We batch process accolades (they are not real time) as they are not a critical feature.
            You may see accolades applied earlier than 24 hours, but they should all be applied within that period.

                        She won't give them to me yet. She said I'm being more of a hindrance than a help and have to try harder. It is hard to be understanding sometimes but I am doing my best. ♡ ♡ ♡

   The accolades is like the teacher giving a kindergartener a gold star. No earning increase. Does not provide any earnings at all.

   It would be unfortunate if they scrap accolades. I think those medals in a way define HP considering its a small perk of sorts that I've only noticed here in particular. Unlike other blogging platforms. It also acts as a good motivator for the writer - being able to watch their own progress and feedback. Accolades should certainly be here to stay.

   Congratulations on writing your first 10 hubs.  Don't worry, your accolade will appear soon.  It takes 2-3 days (me thinks) for a new accolade to show up on our profile.  It is always good to have a goal.. it gives you focus and motivation to keep on writing.

   True, i passed 10 hubs and nothing as yet. Try going for the other acolades and making more comments on others hubs to see if it is all acolades that have been done away with, although i would doubt it.

   OK BJH i published 12 hubs and just 2 hrs ago recieved the 10 hub acolade. so they are still there but you need to just keep writing.

    @nursey. I read your poem and liked it. It does need photos and your inspiration for writing it. There is a good hub about poems and how to get them noticed and what to include in the hub. Good luck and congrats.
