I have a new hub that is getting quite a few page views, but on my statistics, it is showing the page views at 0.  It went from about 400 one day to 0 the next.  I know it's getting page views because it got about 20 Facebook "likes" yesterday.  Plus, I've visited it to see the likes increase.  Yet, it's showing zero page views.  As each of these likes will represent many more page views, I'm wondering why this page isn't getting recognized for the views?  I see the traffic page is still goofed up with a - in front of the traffic sources, so I'm wondering if this will all mend itself over time.  However, my income has been registered for yesterday without those page views.

Any idea what is up?  Thanks. smile

Thank you braket.  I'm sure they'll fix it as they always seem to do.  As long as the earnings are OK, I'm good. smile

I, too, think that stats are broken.

Having said that, though, a FB "like" is not a view to the hub.  Friends (actual friends, I mean, not FB "friends") might well "like" it and never look at it, not realizing you can tell the difference.

Now, if you got 20 new comments on the hub but no visitors I'd have to say the stat page is absolutely a problem.

The "likes" though are off of my hub - not my FB.  It's gone a bit viral in the community it's designed for, and my actual FB post of it isn't where I'm counting the likes.  I'm counting them off of the hub's page itself.  I hope this makes sense. smile I only got about 20 likes off of my FB link but it has been shared a lot and have 234 likes according to the hub.  Now, those "likes" could be off of other people's shares, but I thought those likes needed to come directly from clicking the "like" share on the hub from the hub's page itself.  That's an interesting though that the likes could come from fb shares of others.

Since I posted this, I'm seeing the stats start to change, and numbers even from yesterday are starting to fall more in line with what I'm seeing.

      Thanks. smile

I read and really enjoyed the hub you are talking about, even if I am not into agility with my dog. (So you should be showing at least a few page views!) I am wondering if the FB "likes" visited the page. When I tweet one of my hubs, then check back, it shows the tweet even if I did not click on the button on the page. (Sorry, does that make sense?)
But, I did have a hub some time back with many comments and 0 visits. It was taken care of later and the total is correct (as far as I can tell). Maybe your hub stats will be straigtened out later. Is it still at zero? If it is something is wrong on HPs end.

Thank you Dr. Mark, and that does make sense.  Maybe the FB "likes" shown on the hub are likes anyone makes from anyone sharing on FB - not from people coming into the hub to read and then pressing like.  However, the only time I've "liked" something off of a hub, it showed up on my FB feed.  I'd be interested in hearing how that works - if it's likes off of FB or likes from the hub being liked at the hub's site.  LOL.  If that makes sense. smile

My stats are starting to come in line with what I expected from it over the weekend, so hopefully they will be straightened out over time.

And thanks for the kind comments on the hub. smile  I'm getting good reviews from the agility community and some agility clubs have contacted me about the color of their equipment. smile
