I find that it is so easy to get wrapped up in the little things and get down by them. There are a few of us in my work situation and in my personal relationships that practice the "I Like" game. When we get flustered, we list 3-5 things we like, or are happy about or that is going good in that day. So Let's play!

I like mangos, which I have just indulged in for breakfast.
    I like my job.
I like when coffee shops are open on the holidays.

    Your turn!

I always love a good bargain!

I love my daughter and hubbers, and my daughter's friends.

I love writing but need to rig up the inspiration. Advice welcome:)

I actually wrote a hub about some writing exercises one could practice to "rig up inspiration" smile What's your writing genre? Do you prefer fiction, poetry, non fiction? For articles I try and stay along the lines of what my interests are - I'm interested in natural health, books, history, science - and then I try and figure out something that would be less covered. For example, I saw a hubber write about the medicinal benefits of the coca plant.
For fiction...like I said, i wrote a hub on it as well, but if you google "writing prompts" you'll come up with some fun leads smile

Thank you for the advice. I need writing prompts and am so grateful that Hubpages accommodates this kind of writing. Would you have any advice on how to get a "How to write a book" lesson? That's also on my bucket list. I have ghost written so many books but want to do one with my byline:)

That one I can't help you with. I wing it on that one smile However, I do recommend the book "How to earn a six figure income writing", or something along those lines. I learned a lot of good things with that one.

Thanks, I tend to seriously write more hubs in the next few weeks, but I will definitely look up that book, too.

I like a good book on a rainy afternoon with a Dr. Pepper.

If anyone is curious about how this makes 3:

    good books

    rainy afternoons

    Dr. Pepper

Rainy afternoons is a good one, I'd its the right type of rain. But I live in Washington, so rainy afternoons are fairly frequent

I've often thought I should live somewhere else.  As to the type of rain, I think it should be medium.  I do like heavy rain sometimes, but usually I am most in the mood for a relaxed, quiet atmosphere where I can stare out the window and listen and watch the rain surround my entire environment and splatter off of my house or the current building I happen to be occupying.

I really do love a heavy rain smile
I used to live in Wales which was too lethargic to rain properly, yet continually rained this sort of indecisive rain all the time. Now I live in Washington where it rains and when it rains it smells of trees, which makes up for its lack of dedication
