Don't know if I'm using the right terminology, but here's my question: If you have two sites hooked up to Adsense, if one is not doing so well does it affect how much money you make? I ask because I noticed when I checked Adsense, one of the sites I have is doing rather well, the other is not, and it appeared to bring down the value of clicks or something; still new, so I don't totally understand how all that works. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the responses, folks. Part of it is I don't know the meaning of what I'm reading on Adsense, and one of the columns has the heading RPM. With a little research, I at least found out what it meant; it's the estimated revenue per thousand impressions. Here's an interesting post I found along the way. I can't say how credible the writer is, but what he says makes sense. The writer gives an idea of what is and could be successful according to a page's RPM: http://www.displacedguy.com/selfemploy/ … OPFH6zNmSo

All I know is that a number of expert hubbers seem to have more than one account. So my guess is that you have nothing to worry about. Hope you get a better answer from a more proficient Hubber.

I would like to read other Hubbers' opinion on this as I thought I had once read something similar to your comment.

I know that you can only have one Adsense account, so all sites do end up on that account.  However, if the poorer performing sites (for/with Adsense) do affect the others it might be worth me having a check and removing it from some of my weaker blogs.

BTW - I can see no definite signs so far that the value of clicks is affected.

I think you're talking about the Average CPC (Cost per Click) and CTR (Click Trough Rate). If you have multiple websites and some of them perform better than the rest, the Adsense Dashboard will show you an average of your results, but you can also create separate channel for better tracking.

The Value of the clicks aren't down, or the CTR, talking about specific websites, but your overall average will show different results.

Just imagine, if you have several clicks worth $5, but then in another website you have some clicks worth $1 or less, the average will show something in between. It's not lowering your earnings or anything, it's showing your average results.
The same will happen with CTR. But you don't have to worry that much. As Matt Cutts (from Google) says, just focus on creating great content and don't forget the TOS.

Thank you, Servando, that is good to know. That makes sense too, it's an average. I agree making good content is the important thing.
