AdSense account configuration

   Without Adsense I cannot add any other means of monetization to my pages. I am from the USA and when I try to link my Adsense account to Hubpages I get the following warning:
   
   This is what it does when I try to link my accounts. It shows this page with the radio button back in the "No" selection. -----
   
   
   The following issue may affect whether your Google AdSense application is approved:
   Your HubPages profile is less than 6 months old. Google requires applicants from some locations, including China and India, to have owned their site for at least 6 months. To learn more read is my site eligible to participate in AdSense?.
   
   Is this correct?

      If you have an AdSense account you should select the "Yes" radio button under where it says Do you already have a Google AdSense account?, and follow the instructions for associating your existing account.  The reference to China and India in the "No" instructions are a generic advisory and, if they do not apply to you, then you can ignore them.

   Do you already have an Adsense account, which you have been using in other places?
   
   If not, you have no hope of getting one with no hubs!
   
   Most people find they need at least ten quality hubs before becoming accepted for Adsense through HP. People in some countries also need to have been producing content for at least 6 months, although I not aware that this has been extended to the US.
   
   If you do have an account already, contact HP staff to find out what has gone wrong.

   Thank you WriteAngled but I've already done that. My last stop was reporting it in here. Yes, I have Adsense already, I deleted my hub article and tried to link it and it flagged "You need at least ONE good hub" before adding Adsense.  Once I had a good hub it would not let me link it because it said my account is not 6 months old.

   That is very odd. Perhaps the hub you had was not yet "featured" and that caused the initial glitch?
   
   What about deleting this Hubpages account and setting up a completely new one with a different email address? Write a hub or two and wait until they become featured and then try to link Adsense again.
   
   I'm afraid that's all I can think of.

   I got another reply back from hubpages team and I re-tried the linking and it worked this time. Don't know why it wouldn't work all the other times but I'm thankful.  Thank you all for all your suggestions.
