Somebody (not a hubber) has contacted me with regards to one of my poems which he wants to use as college material. I am competely happy with this, but he also wants to publish my poem on his blog (crediting me as the author). Is this ok or will it cause duplicate issues - or will it be ok with a link back? I realise this is not the best way to earn from it but I am mostly interested in the exposure.
Ya know.... HP will not unpublish your hub when someone "steals" it... Just saying...
Absolutely NO! If they publish it online, it will be duplicate.
They could write a snippet and then put your link in the snippet, or use one of the links widgets like they have on blogger, but that is it.
Yes, I was going to go down that line but thought I would check - since it wouldn't be me publishing it and clearly I would have published it first (it's over a year old). I've got a feeling it's already been republished once, on a Facebook page, but I can't remember who by. It's on a topical issue, so people who want to raise awareness sometimes become interested in it and I like that. Thanks, anyway
And as a personal note, side rant, Yahoo Voices will!!!

I am looking for some advice. I am trying to improve the quality of my hubs old and new. As part of this, I have been going through them, taking a snippet from the beginning of the hub, pasting it in "..." to Google search. This gives me one way of telling if my hub has been copied....

Is this a bug or am I tying with Briggs for a featured snippet? It seems odd. The picture can be clicked and leads to DenGarden

Are we allowed to republish our articles elsewhere and keep the original hubs here in the mean time?

How can I publish a hub with quotes on a topic without being flagged for duplicate content? My hub, that I spent hours working on, was flagged for duplicate content. It contains quotes on one topic. Frustated! I want to save my hub. What can I do?

I created a blog earlier this year, but I took it offline about a month or so ago. I had written a tutorial on how to make hair bows (with photos that I took and everything) and I still have it saved as a document on my computer. Is it safe to publish it on Hubpages as a hub? would it come up with...
