   The issue of approval is often a tricky issue.   A few people actually NEED other's approval as an elixir, often subjecting themselves and/or subverting their individual personalities in order to be liked.   Some people actually WANT others to notice them while still there are people who actually COULDN'T CARE LESS  about other's approval and/or what others think of them.     What is YOUR issue regarding other people's approval and what others think of you?

         Surely 1,756,991,004 different (yet similar) threads opened and abandoned since what seemed a very salty s-s-s-s-s-sorry was slipped sideways across the floor a couple of days ago.... may answer that question Mark!

         So, having no idea what anyone is referencing here, I will respond to the original question.
         
         I actually like ppl. I enjoy them, their complexities and their strengths. I wont apologize for who I am. I am a Christian, I love to laugh and I laugh a lot. I am sarcastic, and mostly empathetic. I have a ton of weaknesses that I am tackling one by one. Having said that, I want to be liked, but not for the sake of being liked, but b/c I like to live at peace with ppl. I like to have fun with ppl. I tend to find something I can identify with with each person and focus on that. Ppl seem to really be drawn to me, which is nice, and to be honest, it confuses me when ppl seem to hate for no reason. I don't like contrary or unkind ppl, but like I said, I will strive to get along with most anyone. I can't imagine any one is interested in any of this, but maybe I felt a need to do what was expected of me and answer the op's question. lol
