Hello all! Would anyone like to brag on their pets here?
I have none, but there might be a hamster in my future.

This is my tribe and I love them all!Yes both dogs are Jack Russels. The one with fairy wings is a standard male and the slimmer sneaky looking one is a Parsons bitch.
Jack Russels are very territorial but loyal. They can be a bit of a pain to house train when young pups, be sure that if your getting a pup, it's not too young, (no younger than 10 weeks.) They were at one time working dogs, so you need to be aware that fluffy and/or squeeky things triggers hunting behaviour. They will kill chickens, rabbits, rodents etc and should never be left with very young children. This makes them sound highly dangerous, which they aren't really. I wouldn't leave any dog unattended with a small child. You can harness their fixation of small squeaky things by using a squeaky toy as a reward when training. This will also address any territorial issues, your dog will be far too busy fixating on the squeaky toy in your hand to be anti-social with other dogs, whilst your out.
Their fierce loyalty can also be a life saver, my dog Zoidberg 'saw off' a would be attacker, who pushed me to the ground when I was out jogging in the UK. He was off the lead at the time and the attacker didn't see him. Zoidberg just flew at him, teeth bared and bravely chased him off despite being kicked. The police told me a woman had been raped the evening before and were amazed such a small dog had defended it's owner from someone of the same description. So as with all dogs, there are pro's and cons. I would just do a bit of research in handling them before you get one, which would be a good idea what ever breed you decide on. Oh and they like dressing up very much.
The pig and the chickens are just as much trouble but that's animals for you.

That's our BB and Calie.
BB's one of the most docile creatures ever. He adopted my husband one cold winter night outside a gas station by clinging to him; hubby couldn't resist and brought him home, leaving a notice for a possible owner. When no one inquired about him, he ended up staying with us.
We already had Calie, who I had gotten from a neighbor right after she was weaned. Now, Calie is a sweetie but she has claws (if ya know what I mean) when she feels threatened.
When my husband brought BB home, Calie felt very threatened. BB spent the first two nights outside in a box, because Calie wanted nothing to do with him. Finally we brought him inside to stay, and Calie beat up on him (so-to-speak)........she'd bop him on the head with her paw, yet BB would just lay there and take it. Finally his resoluteness won her over; now they're friends with only the occasional spat. We couldn't bear to part with either of them.
We also have 3 more cats; outdoor ones, that we didn't intend to have, really, but each with their own personalities and stories; they've become indispensible to us as well. 
My little Mercedes thinks he's a puppy. If he's outside and we are taking a walk he follows us, just out of our reach to avoid us catching him and taking him back to the house. He will follow us as far out as we go and back. I guess he wants to go for walks too.This is my brag about my male saint bernard - HayLey's Comet Tail's Away - Call name (Comet) may he rest in peace. We lost him to cancer in 2011.
My dogs keep my family safe and loved. When I'm away on business and call home. My wife was in the habit of putting the phone on speaker so the dogs could hear me too. One time my wife fell and injured her knee and couldn't get up. She said to our big male saint bernard (I need daddy) He knew daddy wasn't home so he brought the phone to my wife so she could call me. I rushed home and took her for care.
