Issues on right side of the body only - could acupuncture help?

I believe very much in alternative health modalities, energy healing, I meditate semi-regularly, regularly cleanse/balance the chakras etc.  My question is this, whenever I get any kind of malady - headache, canker sore, ovarian cyst, rash etc. it is ALWAYS on the right side of my body.  Even my eyesight is significantly weaker in my right eye.

I am wondering what the significance of this is as far as the energy body and what I can do to help balance it?  Acupuncture?

    Any opinions?

Meta Medicine, which is based on German New Medicine, teaches that the dominant side (right if you're right-handed, left if you're left-handed) represents your father or your boss, while the non-dominant side represents your mother or your children or something you consider to be your baby (maybe a car or your business). There is a book on Meta Medicine by Richard Flook, called "Why Am I Sick?" Flook works with Karl Dawson using EFT and Matrix Reimprinting to resolve client's issues. Hope this info helps.

It might very well work, but if its not covered on your insurance, can be very expensive. Insurance companies really don't cover expenses from holistic doctors such as this. I just recently went to see a chiropractor, as my ailments where always on the left. Numbness on the left side of my body, hand, and foot, headaches, and dizziness. MRI revealed a slip disc, damaged vertebra, and arthritis in my spine. I couldn't even tie my shoe. Went for 7 adjustments, and it truly helped. Might be the same for you, as if the spine is messed up, then obviously it will effect the rest of the body. The only problem is insurance doesn't cover. Had to pay out of pocket, but I can at least tie my shoe, very much worth it. I asked around to friends before I settled on the chiro I went to, an awesome doctor. You might want to do the same. Definitely check with your insurance, see what they cover, and if any are on your PPO.
Another thing I did was use an exercise ball, all you do is lay on it, it helps to realign the spine if it is minor. I actually could hear my spine pop, sounds to easy, I know, but does help.
Another new device for realigning the spine is from Gaiam, basically it is a form u just lie on. Pretty cool. Alot less expensive than a visit to the chiro, and more stable than an exercise ball.

I think you should climb an eight foot ladder and dive head first on the driveway.

I tried that a few years ago. It didn't work. Maybe I should try it again?

Alternative health modalities tend to consider the right side of the body to be masculine energy issues or expressive issues, unless you are left-handed in which case you might have reversed energy flow (it's not an automatic given).

Not at all.  The problem is NOT local.
UR brain favours the left - the right side of the body is controlled  by the left side of the brain.
U simpley need to train UR brain.  Start to favour UR left side.  Writing, opening things ...
Just use the left side of the body more - use it or lose it
Over time U will make small gains, which will esculate

Thanks everyone for the responses, I will definitely look into all of them.  I am right handed so it is indeed the dominant side of my body.  I just find it strange, because it's just so uncanny - nothing ever goes wrong on the left it's always the right lol.  When my wisdom teeth came in both were crooked/impacted, but only the one on the right side gave me grief.. it's just been like that for years now - always the right side with everything.  I figured there had to be something to that smile

Hmmm...interesting about the teeth. Check out a  tooth meridian chart. It gives you the relationship between a tooth and its related body organs. If you can't find an interactive chart, let me know and I'll send you a link. All the best!

U need to straight to the source of the problem - UR brain
U need 2 retrain UR brain, it is simple to do just little things,
over and over ...... UR brain controls everything U do so if U train it U WILL notice results
in all that U do.  That is FACT - B well
