Hubs that are not being viewed

   I have many hubs that are receiving little to no views at all. They are old and I was testing the waters at the time, trying to figure out how to do the hubpages thing. They are not very good and my heart just wasn't in it, nor would it be if I tried to fix them.
   Should I just delete these hubs or let them stay there and receive the 3 or 4 views per month? I think I already know the answer but I wanted some advice from others.

      I will generally try once or twice to fix up a hub that is not performing but if not successful will delete it.  There are just one or two hubs that have gone "idle" (un-featured) that I have kept - one intended for hubbers that may be of some small value to other hubbers and one that I keep around for sentimental reasons.  All others have been deleted and there are more scheduled for the axe in the next few months if they don't turn around and generate some traffic.

         I killed my first hub about a week ago.  It was sad but it really was a very very bad hub.  There was no saving it.  I'm going through some of my not-so-bad but definitely not great hubs now. Some have been idled, some are likely going to be.
         
         What is so sad is the hub that embarrasses me most is my top performer.  I would love to rip it down, and I do mean LOVE to rip it down, but Google apparently loves it.  I found it copied about twenty different places and was sorely tempted to tell them if they wanted it, it was all theirs.  I filed the complaints though, because I think it might be the only thing holding my subdomain up.

      2 weeks ago I had 460 hubs, now I have 402, and I have written 5 in the last 2 weeks.
      
      Since I have deleted 60 of my first and worst ever hubs, my traffic and my google money have improved. They became idle, had no views, and were basically poorly written and laid out wrong.
      
      I still have some more idle hubs to delete and some to revamp and hope that they will spring back into life

      I agree with other respondents that if these hubs are interesting and worth saving - then give them a review and try to improve the content. If relevant, have you considered entering photos, polls or videos? Or they may need to be updated if any information is out of date. Good luck!

   Try including some links from Amazon.com . Be careful not to over promote your Hubs. This will get you in trouble. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

   Try adding informational links and videos. Also, extent the article writing relevant information into it. Adding colorful dividers gives a Hub more eye appeal.

   Are any usable or worthy of a rewrite? Maybe you could remove them and tinker with them, with a view to using them on a site with lower quality content. I have noticed a few of my old hubs are looking poor against my later work, so I understand your concerns.

   I have been trying to decide what to do about my pages that are not getting much traffic and have fallen into the idle status. I did not want to tackle the problem without thinking it through. Now, I have decided to work my way through the problem pages and sort them into two groups.  The first I think are worth editing and a rewrite for HubPages. The others will probably fit in with the themes of one or two of my other online writing places. Then I want to update some of the featured ones.

   I think it's wise to edit the hubs rather than deleting them. Add some spice to them
