Is there something you're passionate about? A hobby or interest?  A cause?  Write about that

Are you here to have fun writing or to make money?  If earning is your primary goal, then do some research on how to identify niche subjects to write about, how to optimise your Hubs for search engines, how to promote etc before you start.

I'd have to say, most people who join HubPages do so because they love writing, so I'm wondering what motivated you to join if you didn't already feel the drive to write about something?

    from your profile,
"Celene is a vetenarian. If you have a problem with your pet or any questions she would be glad to help"

how about some pages on animal health or things to avoid to keep your pet healthy, tropical fish health would be good or even a hub on strange pets people keep.
I look forward to your first page, good luck.....jimmy

D'uh, why didn't I do the obvious thing and look at your profile?  Articles about pets always do well - just look at Whitney's great dog Hubs.  Or maybe you could talk about the challenges of being a novel writer?

You could do me a favor and do a Hub on Jack Russels!

Hi, I agree with Marisa.  It's easier to start with the things you love -- from pets, to books to cooking.  Welcome to hubpages. :-)

I've heard that pork is bad for a dog to eat (the pig fat can't be broken down properly in the pancreas).

I'd like to read an informed opinion on that.

Yes it is bad for dogs.  I've noticed with our dog that everytime he ate pork he was always sick even when we gave him the bones from barbecued spare ribs.  So there must be something in the bones as well.  Yes it would be interesting to find out more on the subject too.  smile

How about a way to teach Jack Russells to realise they are only little and not ten feet tall so that they do not take on all the big dogs.  Just commenting as an observation nothing against them at all its just that they always want to tackle the bigger dogs when walking on the streets.  There must be a way of stopping them from doing that.
One day a big one will respond and then its the big dogs fault.
