I have just finished a new hub on the topic of how and where to distribute video on the internet. I metioned 3 video delivery services as tubeMogul, trafficGeyser and videoCounter and put a link to these services on. I also mentioned services like Elance and Freelancer and put links on as well. But with these links I was not allowed to publish my hub because of a violation.

But what violation is it? These are no headcore porn sites or so. These sites are old internet services.

My intention was to deliver a service to my readers but so I could not. Well I still have mentioned these sites but deleted the links. However, I don´t understand it.

You might want to check the 'Moderation guidelines; in the Learning Center:

      http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Hub- … Moderation

If that doesn't adequately explain the problem, I would suggest writing to HubPages at team@hubpages.com

Whenever I have hit moderation issues (and it has happened a couple of times), an email to HP will let you find out what the issue is so that you can correct it.

      Good luck.

Thank you Paul. I have checked the guidelines but nevertheless I don´t really see the violation.
However, I have no links anymore and if anyone is interested in what I mentioned he will find it.

When the hub was unpublished at the top it should have given a reason. I think they  have a list of links they deem "promotional" and if any of your links are on that list you get hit. You may still be able to list the link, just don't hyperlnk it (remove the http or www).

Well, this is what I actually did - I removed all hyperlinks. I only mentioned the sites.

oh, I couldn't find the hub - guess they haven't republished it yet. but I should have known you'd know what to do. You have great hubs, everyone should visit them.

Hi Ratatoesk! If you have a moderation related question, please email team@hubpages.com and someone from the moderation team can clarify the violation(s) for you.

So what is the *specific* reason given for unpublishing the hub?

violent links were detected right before publishing. So I had to remove the links in order to publish what I did.

What is the specific reason quoted word for word?  Because "violent links" isn't one of the option as far as I know.  It really helps to be specific.

Well, this actually is the point. There was just no specification at all. I have mentioned 5 internet services and put a hyperlink to there sites on. And when I finished editing and pressed the button to publish ma hub I was told that I couldn´t publish it because of a violation. But I had nothing else than these links. So I removed them and published my hub. But it is strange and I don´t really understand it. Still don´t know what violation it was.

There is a specific reason given.  In view mode it is at the top of the hub in the black box.  In edit mode it is in the right column.  You have to click on the "?" to see it.

In the future refer to this area and cut and paste the explanation given.  Then we will probably be able to tell you exactly what the issue is.
