I took quite a fall four nights ago, resulting in a broken hand and damaged rotater cuff.  I am not looking for sympathy.  My purpose for posting this is so people will understand that I have not been ignoring hubs.  I am doing fine but have temporarily limited my activity on Hub page while I am healing a bit.

      Morning Beckie.
I don't think we could ever accuse you of forgetting other hubbers.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder and hope it mends soon. Get back to writing some of those wonderful stories with a beautiful twist at the end, or do I have to come over to upstate NY and give you what for? lol.
Take care (he,he,not a pun) and have a great weekend.
      LOL Ghaelach

Irish, did you trip over a leprechaun?  My goodness Irish !  Well,  I prescribe an occasional sipping of some Black Label Bushmills, or perhaps Jameson - may not cure you , but will take your mind off of your injuries.

Not to worry, shiningirisheyes! It is very common for Hubbers to pop in and out- the rest of the world certainly has a way of throwing curve balls, doesn't it?

I wish you the speediest and most successful of recoveries!

Shiningirisheyes...I'm so sorry to hear that and pray that you mend quickly...it sounds painful! As far as hubbers go, I don't think you have to worry about anything at all, we all take a little break now and again.
      Wishing you well!!!!!

Hi Shiningirisheyes!  I know that you are not looking for sympathy but I am sorry for you anyway!  I wish you a speedy recovery!  I would be terribly sad for myself it happened because I create 3D projects and paint and I would be totally out of it for a while!  So I empathise totally for you!
Take that time to rest and enjoy the view (I hope you have nice surroundings to look at).  I am sure you must have plenty of ideas for new hubs so may be you can to type key words or small sentences with your other hand to keep those ideas for when you recover!  Take good care of yourself :-)

Hey Irish!  I hope that you mend in a hurry, but how are you going to shovel all the snow that's coming?!  Hopefully there's a friendly neighborhood kid willing to help out.  Just kidding!  wink Here's to your speedy recovery, my friend.

My friend, you will be missed but take the time you need to heal.  On the bright side, you have a new experience to write about when things are back to normal.  I'm sorry you had such a big accident but am sending healing thoughts your way.  Take care of yourself!!!

A lot of people have things going on in their lives that make it impossible or hard to keep up with HubPages. I don't think anyone would think you're ignoring them!
It sure is sweet of you to let everyone know why you are not on HP much, though!
Shiningirisheyes, I hope your hand heals fast. Take care!
