Miracles All Around Me!

   I slept until 6:30 this morning. An hour longer than the latest I normally get up. Did an unseen force sprinkle me with drowsing dust? I can only assume.
   
   So, I get up and go downstairs. Not only was the coffee not ready (since my husband had overslept also) but we both had headaches. Coincidence? I think not.
   
   Although these seemingly innocous events may not point to a greater power manipulating my life I know it does because I don't oversleep. Ever.
   
   So, what do I do? Is the universe attempting to share vital information, or just futsing with me? Why doesn't it just send an angel to tell me why it needed me to oversleep today? I don't want to wait until the butterfly effect has run its course. I want to know now.

      If it were me I would forget about the miracles and do a little checking for a carbon monoxide leak somewhere.  Aren't those classic symptoms?

         I forgot to mention that the creamer was extra thick. I suppose then you'll suggest i shook the jar for once. Or, are you implying that the universe doesn't revolve around me?

      I'd say that the reason God allowed you to oversleep, when it's something you never do, is because he was saving you from possible tragic events. In my opinion that is how God works. Each of us miss tragedies and fatalities every single day for a reason. Think about it, vehicles are deadly weapons, there are alot of un-intelligent life forms out there driving them, there's a reason more of us don't die each day. Our lives are specifically set up to avoid such incidents, until it is our time. When things seem a little "off" sometimes, there's a reason. Make sense?

         Well, it would make sense; but Wilderness has already informed me that the universe revolves around him. That being stated as fact leaves me to assume I was just lazy this morning. I still haven't figured out how the creamer got so thick.

            So your statement precludes and excludes the others statement. How uninteresting is that, when clearly you did not understand the initial post you replied to, once again. Her statement was not an ultimate decree, but a statement of God allowed her to sleep in so SHE could avoid....

      To add your event, I have been observing things happening in this world around me. I always feel excited to know some similar events like what you have experienced.
      
      Therefore, there must be someone who is always watching us and taking care us. I believe GOD!

                  I'll give you what is a non atheist moment. All things not being equal in the universe, I suppose I can understand how mundane things could be labeled miracles by believers.  Life, itself, is wondrous enough to warrant awe when you stop to think about the improbability of life. And sometimes I think that is one of the shortcomings of atheistic reasoning. It doesn't fully appreciate how precious and unique each individual perception of reality is. All the way from the pinnacle of their perception () to the depths of their perception of the perception of others, and across to the perception of the nematode.
                  
                  If God sees all, then he sees through the eyes of all living things. He sees through my eyes and yours. He sees good, we reason ourselves to see bad. I'd love to be able to stop reasoning and see you through the eyes of God. To accept unconditionally, to cherish with no ulterior motives, to understand how each of us is uniquely important to the diversity of life. To simply stop judging and be.

               I'm sure it still does.  Gone into reverse for a moment, that's all. 
               
               Probably the result of minor members oversleeping - that sort of thing is not tolerated well and it's always the ones at the top that end up paying the price.
