I wrote an actual helpful piece the other day on a different account.
450 words - no pictures.
No pictures were needed!
It answered a question that someone might pose. A question that I had just spent twenty minutes looking for on the web.
Not good enough for QAP.
I thought... "shall I add some photos even though they are pointless?"
"Shall I add a poll or a quiz?"
I just moved it - in one minute - to a blog.
Job done!
How to type of articles - video and photos are good to go with it
Educational/Information types - even if no polls, pic or videos I will still read it
If it is a "stick man photo", then I like it :-) :-)
I just misjudged it. Again. Seem to be doing that a lot recently.
HP is going to be an article site with fabulous stellar hubs.
The simpler non-stellar stuff needs to be elsewhere. I have a suspicion that some of that simpler stuff makes money.
Seems like every time I turn around, I see another post about a hub written by a quality writer being rejected by QAP. Frankly, I don't know what to do anymore. Guess I'll just keep tinkering with my existing hubs until that option is also taken away. (Sorry HP, I guess my blood sugar is low at the moment.)
Well now - this wasn't 'quality' It was just a page that answered a question.
So I guess it doesn't meet their rules and that is OK.
It was just the beginnings of a change for me. If it isn't good enough and I can't be bothered to upgrade it... fine. It can go elsewhere.
You know... That just might be a good S.O.P. Give HP first-right-of-refusal; if rejected, then on to option #2.

What is an easy way to "watermark" your photos (in bulk)?

I just joined this website today. My question is regarding the quality of the things I have posted, seeing as one thing I wrote seems to have been taken away... I am open to suggestions so I can get better at what I do, especially seeing as writing is something I would like to someday do full time....

Can anyone explain if there is a requirement or at least an incentive somewhere somehow that would force or cause Hubpages to keep being active in its current form for many many years to come? The reason I ask is that I went through writing a lot of articles and then promoting eHow (not just my...

Do you believe that there is life on other planets besides Earth and what makes you think so.There are so many schools of thought (religious and secular) about life on earth and other planets. Are we alone in the universe or did life sprang into being elsewhere? Did God only have enough time for...

I have had 11 hubs unfeatured last night. I have never had one that changing a letter or two would not refeature. These are saying that the hubs do not have any pictures. One of them had two, I added two more and it is still saying I have no pictures on them. HELP.

Help! I woke up this morning to find that one of my mid-range performing hubs, "What is Creation, by Definition?" (http://lauraschneider.hubpages.com/hub/What-is-creation) had plummeted to a score of 55. It was 74 on Sept. 8th, 2013, and I know it is a well-written article with 3...
