Hi all:
This problem started late 3/29/2013 and continues in the early hours of 3/30.
This problem is happening in IE 9.0.8112.16421 on Windows 7.
It is NOT happening on Firefox 17.0.2 on Windows XP.
At http://hubpages.com/feed/, accolades appear as text, not graphics.

Similarly, accolades appear as text, not graphics, on my profile: http://sidkemp.hubpages.com/

(img did not load, will try again in 2nd post.
This may be related to another problem that occured at the same time, but that looks different, on the stats page. I'll post separately about that.
Yikes, thanks for pointing that out, SidKemp! Matt will dig a bit deeper as soon as he is back on. Accolades are too darn pretty to not appear as icons!!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
After some additional research, this appears to be isolated to Internet Explorer 9 only as I have been unable to reproduce the issue in Internet Explorer 10.
Firefox and Chrome do not appear to be affected as well.
This has been forwarded to our engineering team to be addressed.
This issue also appears to be related:

I'm having the same problem as described above... thought it was just me.
As long as we're airing grievances, the top of my stats page looks like a bowl of alphabet soup... yikes!!
Hi FatFreddyCat - I didn't mean to air any grievances. I was trying to help HubPages find and fix a problem. When we see a problem, it's really helpful to all of us if we say what browser, browser version, and operating system and version you are using. If you can upload a screenshot, that's great, too. The more accurate info HubPages staff gets, the easier it is for them to fix the problem fast.
For example, I learned this weekend that IE 10 doesn't have the problem I found in IE 9 - good for everyone to know!
As of 8:30pm Eastern April Fools Day, this problem appears to be resolved in IE9.
From what I can see, all IE9 display problems (graphics and alignment) on HubPages are resolved. I had a guess that all the problems came from just one glitch regarding the loading of graphics. Now we get to try out the new interface!
