Mines is the colour blue, meaning:

Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable, committed, calming cooling and aids intuition.

Lets hear what your favourite colours are

      Hi Lippy

Welcome to Hubpages!  My favourite colour is light blue. I have a very calm personality, I guess that's why I like it.

    Brown...cos I like to poo!!

Sorry..was thinking aloud for a second there...

It would have to be light blue, the colour of the sky with no clouds and the freedom in the wind and the endless blue sky just seems so amazing....like a refridgerator.

    Pink.

I think it encompasses my personality very well. big_smile Maybe my username, too. big_smile

I own more pink items then you could ever imagine. Stuff that probably shouldn't be made in the color pink, but is. LOL

Furniture, bedding, electronics, office supplies, exercise equipment...the list goes on and on!

I have a color group as my favorite.  I can't separate the "members" of the group for one favorite, because they all go together and I love them equally - pale mauve, sage, light grays, and all creams.

I know I associate them with sunsets, early mornings, and Spring.  They're the rarer sky colors, and the mauves I also associate with the fleeting pinks of Spring (which give way to other color flowers which last all Summer).  Cream, for me, is just an appealing color.  It's fresh and clean and airy without being harsh.  My eyes just like creams, tans, and light grays (but I need them "prettied up" with hints of mauve and green).

I think my color preferences are a sign that I'm reserved, but I like to think they represent that I'm also light-hearted and youthful-feeling, feminine, and someone who loves Spring and Summer trees.  I'm guessing it shows that I need a certain amount of calm and peace.  Maybe it shows that I want to be the most alive thing in my day - not the colors around me.  I know it shows that I seek out the rarer, more beautiful, of anything (color, music, flowers, art, whatever), and that I tend not to like the most common things.  Heck, I feel good just thinking about my favorite colors.    smile

Black. And it says naff all about my personality. I am not sombre, dark, gloomy, mysterious, lacking imagination or afraid of the light.

I just have no ability to colour co-ordinate. Period.

Mine is Yellow, but I also like Pink and Green and Blue.

According to my hub http://hubpages.com/hub/Rainbows  Yellow means: "Yellow is used for mental stimulation and memory, it will help you think faster and is good for clearing the mind. To help cure dermatitis and other skin problems and again it must be used carefully because it is very stimulating and it could cause exhaustion and depression.

It is the color of Taurus and also the planet Mercury."

I am a Taurus but I don't think it has any effect on my memory.

I will have to check out your hub anjalichugh.

Yours says: "Yellow strengthens communication and sharpens the intellect. It is conducive for organization, evaluation, analysis, academic excellence, administrative capabilities, sincerity, attention to detail and harmony with people around. It is good for concentration and clarity of thought and also enhances power of expression."

I guess I am going to be putting more yellow in my living room where I do most of my work!

I'm Taurus, but I have to say that yellow rattles my neurons to the point where I feel confused and mean.  Maybe it's just my vision.    smile

Orange is my favorite color, which I assume means, different, conversative and bold...because that's me.  I love any color of orange, sad but true smile

As a favorite color, it'll have to be red. Well, cos I'm hot like fire. However, I dont go about painting my house red or wearing red clothes.

    My favorite colour is Lavender..
Researching I came across the meaning.. Lavender represents feminity and is the grown up color for Pink. Purples represent royalty, **sigh*** if only I were a princess. smile
