      Hubs get scraped all the time there is nothing you can do.  The Internet is full of NO TALENT Lackies that think it's okay to steal the work of others and try to make a buck. And large companies could care less - it is what it is.
      
      What I do on work I publish on my own sites is embed links that are short links that go to my affiliates so that when my work is scraped and stolen the links are stolen as well. And if those links get published elsewhere I will get paid for them.  Scrapers don't do it manually and it would take too much time for them to edit the scraped content. So they are in effect doing me a favor.
      
      So as you write try to think of ways that you can embed your content so that it benefits you.

         That works for some scrapers - sadly some just steal the text and the only thing we can do is file a complaint.

      I simply copied a small part of my hub and 'searched' for it in Google.

         I have often wondered if we are really doing these thieves a favor by drawing attention to them. I mean, now most of us have visited their page just to see what they had done instead of just looking at your hub with the same content.

            Not really - the copied article was ranked one below mine in Google search - so a few visits won't make any difference - in other cases I've seen the copied article ranks above the original so it's in the best interest of the original author to get it taken down.

   Oh no, another copier of hub content. They target this writing community because they are after quality articles, and nicking them is easier than researching and creating their own.
