Did hubpages put a spell checker in the forums? I never had it available before but now I do!

You don't have it when your writing something. Try spelling wrong and see if it puts a red line under the word.

A great addition for me. My thinking and writing don't always coincide!

It automatically shows up for me as red, if I make a spelling error. Has been doing this forever, though. I think it's a feature of Google Chrome or something on my computer. Firefox does this, too.

Did you recently switch browsers? That could be the reason why the little red lines are appearing.

See how great it wercks? <--- wink

Yes...very interesting, lol. I use Firefox, but careful typing helps me even more. I think I have more typos than real spelling mistakes, lol.

Many browsers come with a built in spell checker much like Windows, so that as soon as a spelling error is detected, the red line appears under the mis-spelt word. in fact this is one of the reasons that i am such a stanch supporter of the Mozilla Firefox browser. My spelling isn't bad, but my typing (sp. on the laptop) sucks rather. Of course it is American English so when you spell it like the British, the lines will show up even when your spelling is correct.
