Personally, I like Azrael, not because he is the Angel of Death (and possibly of rebirth as well), but because he keeps a book of all names in which he is constantly revising and editing. It seems to me that his power is so great that his mere writing of your name or taking away your name has an effect on where you will end up in the after life.

Michael is my favorite. He is always there with encouragment and cheers on the dreams waiting to come true. I will ask for his help often and lately he is coming through in bringing the plan in to a clear focus. Great topic! smile

Uriel is a pretty cool guy. He guards the sun and doesn't afraid of anything.

How is it possible to have a favourite angel? Everything we know about them is human legend; the bible says very little for example.

You do not need to limit your understanding and faith to the bible.

I really can't choose between  Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore or Lucy Liu or do you mean the cast of the original series on TV, in which case I have to go for Jaclyn Smith.................

Would love to have a religious experience with any of those gals....

I was never really a fan... but I'm sure if you'd like you could open a forum up on favorite cinema characters.

This thread is about your favorite Angel...  they are my favorites!! Not sure what other ones you could be referring to.... Farrah was hot in her day but even as a youngster I preferred Jaclyn. I think maybe it was her voice...

But on reflection I have to now go with Lucy Liu, I just like her sense of humor and of course the fact that she could kick my rear.. that has to command some respect...

So, Charley is the god you pray to? Interesting. I pray to a god to, but I never refer to him as god because he doesn't like to be called god. He threatens to end the world if I ever reveal his name and sometimes he calls for the sinners to have holes drilled into their heads and left in a river to see if they float or sink. If they float then they are obviously possessed by the devil, in which case the clergy have to hang the victim (possessed person) with very soft hemp rope... right after smoking large joints... but to each their own. I am sure you are having fun.

I suppose- If you the portrayal of tears or those who have fallen. What we are drawn to in art says a lot about who we are internally and about the nature of ourselves overall.

Interesting. I never understood why the crucifixion is the most popular portrait of their savior, until right now.

Sometimes known as “Señora de la Noche” (“Lady of the Night”), Santa Muerte protects those working at night like Mariachis, taxi drivers, police, soldiers, and bar owners, among whom she has many devotees.  Known for helping in otherwise lost causes, she is often known as “a saint of last resort.”
