The birth of  humming-birds is not about pets as-per-say but the pics are just amazing. The series of pictures was sent to me by a friend. The photographer also gives permission to share.

    Thank you very much Zsuzsy!

Great pictures of wildlife. A few years ago I went to countryside several times just to watch birds (specially eagles) http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_126.gif with some friends from an ecological organisation and it was very fun and rewarding to wait for the right moment when we can come across with one of those beautiful living creatures.

    Oh Z!!!
I just went back in  time when I saw that cutie. My mom helped a baby hummingbird after my swim class was over. it was so cute. It had fallen out of its' nest. The mom wasn't there , but the nest was on a low tree. So she put it back in and it was just so adorable.  thanx Z for the memory.

I personally find that birds are the ugliest babies. :-\

    Those are interesting pictures though.

Great photos. I have Hummingbirds nest in my grape vines every year. They are simply amazing.
