Well I guess suddenly after all these years it's my turn to be under the spotlight.
I just got an e-mail that one of my Hubs was unpublished because there was an Adult Content.....eBay ad!
Yes evidently someone with a microscope can see those little thumbnails and it offended them.
And although "I" don't consider it Adult Content...I know everyone has different ideas on such things.

"Your Hub has been unpublished. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may or may not have the opportunity to revise your Hub. If you are able to make changes to your Hub, please click the "Submit for Publication" button when you have finished editing it to comply with our Terms of Use. We will then review your Hub and publish it if it is no longer in violation."

Well since I have had that Hub since 2008....I'm gonna take the eBay ad off totally and resubmit.
Hopefully that will be good enough.

I wonder what it will be tomorrow????

You would think they would take that up with EBay instead of you. That is totally out of your control!

Yeah well I thought so to.
But hey, like I said, I deleted the eBay module and I'll replace it with an Amazon when they republish.

But they do change on their own sometimes, without your knowledge until you just happen to go in to edit/update. Ebay is good for that, it has happened to me.

            Yeah they are.
I was in the process of switching from eBay to Amazon when this happened.

            They must be watching me.....LOL

Sabre, I don't use ebay. I just use Google and Amazon. That was a bit stiff, un-publishing a hub all for an eBay ad. I hope it works out for you okay. smile

That's a bit rich being un-published because of an Ebay ad!

Please let us know how long it takes for your hub to be re-published

Oh it's republished today....didn't take them long at all.
I hope those Adsense ads for that "Create Your Hero Now" RPG game with the extremely buxom cartoon girl dont get me in trouble.....
I'd hate to have to remove Adsense....

Sort of on topic, or off topic, Google Adsense canceled displaying ads on one of my "other" sites.  It is a pagan related site and I had a video up about "skyclad" (nude) rituals, that various pagan paths may use.  No actual nudity in the video, but an explanation.  The whole site is without Google Ads now because of this "horrible" violation.

One good thing to remember, Google is no different than other "greats" out there, that have come and gone on the internet.  There are others who will replace Google, and once done, a blessing all the way around. smile

          I understand that.
I have a MMA site and I did a write up on a female kickboxer that was a world class competitor.
All my pages have ads but that one and the only reason I can see is because I mentioned that she was openly lesbian.
All other pages ads...lesbian mention....no ads.
I refuse to take it out so I guess that page will stay adless.

You're serious...? That is rediculous, and infuriating.

They pulled their ads on the whole domain in my case, lol.  No sweat...there are other ads out there that I will check into to replace Google on the site as time allows. smile
