With all the recent changes, anyone know how long it takes for a new Hub to get approved and submitting it?  I hit the publish button on Saturday morning.  Literally 48 hours ago and it hasn't been approved by the "administrator".  The hub has 1354 words, 3+ pictures, links distributed evenly, one map and 1 video and NO amazon or ebay capsules.  Any thoughts good people of the forum?

Did you check for something tricky like ads that are not approved?

Are you still experiencing this problem, David?

    Hi David,
I would expect that it should have been approved by now. I published a bunch two days ago as well and they have all been approved. How many hubs have you published? I believe that it gets faster the more you publish.

Hi David, that's weird. Are you sure you are not referring to the hub being featured rather than it being published? The only way staff approves hubs before they are published is if your account is being moderated for some reason.

I'm confused here! Even after publishing 5 featured Hubs, do we still have to get approval for our new ones? I'm new here so please help me out. Sorry Ravid for hijacking this thread. I am just curious...

Yes, all Hubs have to receive approval.

I wondering if HP is missing in action the last couple of days. At the end of last week a hub I put up a year and half ago that has been viewed by moderators repeatedly suddenly got pulled because of "watermark" (which I didn't/don't see)  pictures. So I pulled one photo, resubmitted for publishing, then it went back to not published. I pulled the remaining photos on Friday or Saturday, hit submit and while it has been viewed over and over by moderators (since no one else can see it while not published), it still has not been published. I'm not sure if they are MIA or if they just don't want to have to republish a controversial hub.

It's been a long-standing practice for HubPages mods/admin to actually go home on weekends.  Never expect anything you report from late Friday night through Sunday night US Pacific time to be handled with any expediency.

And then remember that there will be huge queues of reports to get slogged through for all of Monday.

Is it still listed with the little spinning icon in your my account?  If so it is likely a glitch.

If your Hub isn't Featured after 24 hours, send an email:

    team@  hubpages.com  (without the spaces)

You have mentioned links. Check them. There should not be more than two links per hub or check if it has any violation. Good luck.
