hi,
this is a brand new problem that you face when signing up for ad sense. it asks you to enter your site address only and not subdomain as adsense does not take any more subdomains. as in you cannot type username.hubpages.com anymore they only allow hubpages.com. so then how can anyone get approval for ad sense? i have tried 2 times and both times i got email response saying 'unable to review your site'. maybe because i wrote hubpages.com but then it also says this website is down or unavailable!!! which doesnt make any sense at all. is anyone else facing this issue? wats going on between ad sense and hubpages?
p.s. is it true that people from asian countries have to wait 6 months before they get approval? if thats the case wouldnt it better to go with amazon? because i have seen that both ebay and hubpages ad program requires ad sense and amazon is the only one where they arent asking for adsense. what you guys think about all this?
Hi mastergreen! Are you signing up on the AdSense site directly? You should sign up through your HubPages account and follow the instructions in this Learning Center entry.
You can find answers to your other questions in our FAQ on using Google AdSense on HubPages.
i think i tried once thru ad sense directly. maybe thats why. now whenever i click on no ad sense (thru hubpages) it tells me to give my gmail address and after that it says that 'you are currently signed into your google account...... but this email address is.... which is either not an active AdSense account, or still pending an approval. This account cannot be used to monetize your content'!!!! so now i dont know what to do? any help?
I guess there are two options here. Either you should wait until you get some response to your direct application to adsense. Or you can apply to adsense through hub pages but with a new gmail id. I am guessing that your first effort is stuck in the middle. I would suggest you should go for the second one...
Except they track IPs and only one application is permitted. So if you don;t slip the second application past them they my ban both accounts and your IP.
Actually read the terms of use for your home country! It will give you a specific list of application requirements, and tell you what sorts of content or actions are no-nos.
guys i want to say first of all thank you so much for responding. i was so disappointed yesterday with all this. but i want to tell you i have spent the last 2 days only reading tutorials and even on adsense it doesnt give you much. sometimes when i login to it it automatically takes me to the pending approval page. but my point still remains that i have STILL NOT BEEN ABLE to enter my username.hugpages.com anywhere in that application. even when i try again they only accept a website address and no subdomains. so thats why im getting confused with all this. of course im disappointed that i gotta wait 6 months but im OK with that. the real problems are that im not able to give my hugpages address and i can only enter hubpages.com and then i only get an email from them saying unable to review your site without any mention of 6 months or any other reason. and i dont even have an option to cancel the request i gave, which is wrong anyway. see where im goin with this? HELP!
one more thing, i get the response email from them saying unable to review your site within just hours unlike the 1 week or less situation that a lot of people get. p.s. do people normally put just hubpages.com in the application?
1 month and still stuck in the same place. if i go to adsense.google.com they say go login from hubpages and if i try to do it thru hubpages it says open with gmail and then again they say go back to hubpages and then back to the same place. im stuck in a loop. anyone? pls help.

I'd like to consider myself an asset to the hubpages community. Although I began relatively recently, I have over a dozen published hubs, and I even won the rising star award for one of them. I have applied to Google Adsense multiple times, and I have always been rejected. I would...

I'm having some issues trying to start monetizing my hubs, but I was disapproved by Google and never received an e-mail explaining exactly why they would not approve me.I know I have one hub that includes rather adult content, which also happens to be my most popular one - Snuff - and it has been...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...
