I'm not sure what this means. Someone said a very nice comment. It showed up under "comments" on my profile. Under the comment were 2 choices for me, "delete, or not spam". I clicked on "Not Spam", and the whole comment disappeared.
This was regarding an Answer I asked in the questions section, not a Hub.
Why was the comment shown as "awaiting moderation"?
Why did it disappear?
The comment did not appear on the answer. Why?
I think I found my own answer. It took a few minutes but the comment does show up now. Maybe it's because I hit not spam and that allowed the comment to go through. I had never seen this happen before.
If someone pastes the same comment over and over on many Hubs, the system identifies it as spam.
oh interesting! I didn't know that. Thank you relache!
Same thing happened to me. Somebody made a comment on my hubpage, actually first comment, I clicked "Not Spam" and it disappeared. I am wondering why?

We just deployed an update to the site, which includes some changes to comment moderation. You now have the ability to do two things you couldn't before -- 1) identify a comment as spam and 2) delete a comment permanently.Eventually we plan to allow fan mails to be moderated similarly, but...

Why are some of my hub titles appearing in purple? It doesn't seem to be anything to do with their age as some are older and one was only published yesterday. There does not seem to be an explanation in the list at the bottom of the page.

I posted a question to the HP blog re the new contest... and 5 hours later, still "awaiting moderation!" WTH??? So, I guess now, there will be no action/reply until Monday, AFTER the contest has begun... ????

If I am not wrong comments were moderated before we were given the chance to view them and choose to accept or deny it, at least in case of unregistered users. Am I wrong in thinking this was the case and it was just something on QnA?If it was, is this no longer the case?I have been getting a lot...

So...how is it?? You know--your Hub Etiquette? AKA Your Hubiquette. Do you rate up hubs you like? Do you leave comments on hubs you read? Do you answer comments from readers on your own hubs?Just curious And wondering what, if anything, you wish your fellow hubbers would do more often.
