Indigo is one of my favorite colors.  It is the darker and more sensuous shade of blue.  It is jazz on a light night while dancing with a lover.  It is the physicality and emotionality of a deep velvety sensuousness. Indigo is a funky mood.  Indigo has SO MANY descriptions.  Indigo is a blue beyond blue. Indigo is a blue like no other blue in the world.  It is a contralto blue.  Indigo is definitely a blue for adults, let's us say, adults who are experienced, sophisticated, and KNOW THE WORLD.

How do YOU describe an indigo mood? What do YOU do when YOU feel indigo? What is an INDIGO moment to YOU? What does INDIGO mean to you?

      Have you ever been experienced?
      (I haven't.)
      Indigo Blue is Jimi.

Yes, Jimi could be aptly described as indigo.   So is Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, and DEFINITELY Sade.

Indigo is thoughts on the loose:

-what is an Indigo child? I have heard these children are very intelligent, psychic and aware beyond their years.
(But, they still need to respect the authority and wise counsel of the adults in charge. My neighbor reported that her grandchild replied, "I'm smarter than you, Grandma." Hint: It is an art for the adult to stay in an authoritative yet benevolent position when dealing with a child.)

Art is fun to create and look at because of the freedom and creativity involved in creating it.
But, even Art needs the boundaries of composition, technique, proper color combining, etc. for it to be considered "good".

In my calculations, Indigo is the color of Pisces, the fish. Cancer the crab is yellow and Scorpio the scorpion is red. So, the primary colors came of H2o.

    Colors of the Seasons:
Indigo is the profundity of the ocean,
    The stillness of a lake
And the swirling of wild rivers, where salmon swim upstream.

Yellow is the scampering of baby crabs
    And turtles on the sand
    On the beach, at noon.

    Red is the biting sting
    Of the scorpion,
Lurking beneath damp mossy rocks or within your blankets. Ouch.
