Allow me to share some good news with you today: My adsense application was approved yesterday for one of my blogs. Yes, after waiting months, I have finally got my adsense account. I am so happy about it.
By the way, I linked my adsense account with hubpages yesterday. Can anyone advise me what to do next, or tell me if I successfully linked the account for HP Ad program? How would I know if I successfully linked it here. Thank you.

Great news, congrats to you. Your accounts page should confirm it for you, I believe at the bottom.
Edit: Earnings page, at the bottom will say that the account is associated with your email address.

Thank you janshares! Yes, my earnings page says that my adsense account is already active. It also states that my account is associated with my email address. Can't wait to see how adsense and earnings work here.

Congratulations!  Sorry it was such a long waiting time for you, but now that will just be a memory.  On HP, you'll probably do better initially with the HP Ad Program. Here's how to sign up for it:

I just want to ask you for three more questions:
        1. Will I violate the Adsense Policy if I'll only view my own post (I usually check my hub usually after publishing them or monitor the appearance of my post) even without clicking on the ads?
        2. Will hubpages count my own views everytime I visit my own hubs (for HP Ads program)?
        3. For my other blog, am I allowed to put two ad units (text/display) that are having the same size ( large rectangle ad)?

Sorry if these are common questions to you, I keep on looking for answers on this, but I can't find it. I just ask it here because I don't want to violate Adsense rules. It's hard to be banned, you know.  Thank you in advance.

          1. Viewing your own Hubs doesn't matter at all, so long as you never click on your own ads.

          2. Your views are counted by HubPages, but are recorded as coming from you.  If you go to any of your Hubs and click on 'Stats' on the top left Menu, you'll see the number of times you visited that Hub.

          3. For AdSense units on your blog, see:

Thank you for making that clear Writer Fox! Now I know that I am on the right track. Being banned from Adsense is a big NO for me (and for all of us here,of course), so thanks for answering my questions.

Congratulations! Can you share how long you have waited for your account to be approved? Which blogging platform did you use and did you have to create a ton of posts?

Thank you Caleb! I've waited for six months before I applied in adsense. By the way, I am using the Blogger platform (blogspot.com) with 15 posts.

Congratulations. I had been told you may have to wait up to 6 months to have Adsense approved. Well, I only applied for an AdSense account two weeks ago through Hub Pages, and got an email today saying it was approved. So fast.

Thank you Jodah. Yes, publishers from selected countries have to wait for 6 months before they can get an adsense account. Congratulations to you too, for getting an account within two weeks. That's great, really fast!
