Hey all,
I'm currently working on getting an ebook series done (fiction) and was wondering if it is possible to somehow promote this series on Hubpages in any form without being overly promotional.
Does anyone else in any way advertise their work here and if you do, how do you do it?
Thanks very much.
Richard
Well, I think if you write a hub and review and summarize what your series is about and include a link to one of your ebooks (if it's published already) then you are good. Just make sure your text doesn't appear overly promotional and do not include a link to every single ebook. Just one!
Thank you very much, Lovebuglena!
That's a great idea.
Appreciated. I'll definitely do as you suggest.
Richard
What James Nelson the author does is publish an excerpt of his books. You could do the same with a link back to your book.
Yes, that's an excellent idea my friend!
I was also thinking of writing a few fantasy stories to give people a taste of my tone and hopefully, skill so that they then might read my excerpts when I do post them on here.
I deleted the horror hubs by the way as I felt it was time to move on from them. I'm now doing fantasy and feel that the genre is much more in tune with my writing style.
Thanks again my friend!
Richie
Looking forward to reading your stories again. Glad to have you back
Likewise my friend.
I'll be popping over top see what you've been up to in the next couple of days.
I changed my profile pic to include my son there for you.
See you soon!

One of my challenges for this New Year is to promote my Ebooks . I would be grateful if others could share their own experiences with promoting Ebooks and here's to a great weekend ahead.

This is a thanks to Sandy Mertens, a Hubpage and Squidoo author, who has properly formatted my ebook so that it is accepted in the Smashwords premium catalog. That means it is available for Apple, Sony, Barnes and Nobles, Kobu, Amazon, etc. Sandy will make your ebook if you have one that needs to be...

I'm thinking about it, but have no idea where to begin (besides the writing of it, of course), or whether it would even be worthwhile. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with this and can possibly offer any advice...

I am curious what kind of experience e-book authors have had. I am at a crossroads right now and am trying to make some decisions about where to focus my writing. I could focus more on HP or I could do the e-book gig and see what happens. What kind of experiences have people had...
