I did see there  was  some  on  this,  and  it  said to go to a site through a link to check the http status of my link in question. This site said the link was OK, but only when I put in an alternative URL, since I changed the name of the Hub from its original one, but that name comes up if I click on the link and click on copy shortcut as opposed to fully copying the link by highlighting it.  The link is to a Hub I have published, but the Hub is online and the link for me works, so why is it highlighted as a broken link, such that all the other Hubs I have which contain this link are said to have a broken link ?

I came back to my computer ( I use one at the Teachers' College) and all is now well. The matter is resolved. Thank You all. Chris Lilly.

Basically, I am being told there are potentially broken links on my Hubs, the ones highlighted when one goes in to edit mode. Now I thought these only applied if the Hub is not published, but all my seven Hubs are published, and six of them have the link to this Hub included within them, and when I go to my account, there is the icon there on those six Hubs which shows they each have a broken link. Now since the Hub with the broken link is published, and indeed since when I click on this link from any of the other six Hubs which contain it, and the link directs me to the Hub in question, why am I being told this link is broken ?

Go to your My Account page and scroll down to the bottom. Do you see the big grey box which says "Check for Violations Now?"  Click on that and wait until it finishes processing.  This can take a few minutes.  When it is finished, refresh the page.  If this doesn't solve your problem, let me know.

I  tried  that, and at first it finished processing and showed a link saying I could check for violations  here, so I clicked on that word    here   and  it  said I had none but when I went back to the page they were still there, so I tried again and this time I refreshed the page, but they were still there, and then the thing goes back to check for violations now, so I am not sure what could be wrong. I will leave now as it is three in the morning here in New Zealand and come back tomorrow night and check it again. Thank You. Chris Lilly.
