what happens if a hubber died?

      I was pondering this question, just yesterday, but for a different reason.  How would we know what happened?  A person could just disappear from our lives and we would never know why.  That is sad.

   Make sure your next of kin has access to your Adsense account and bank account.
   
   Not to mention your HubPages account and every other site you've signed up to, as well as domain names, webhosting and whatnot.

   There actually are websites like www.SlightlyMorbid.com that are designed to help you to contact your online friends in case of your death. Yup, slightly morbid.

   If I died my account will go unnoticed, unvisited, and un-used, pretty much the way it is now. Having no assets to divvy up is kinda nice, there's no worries about putting together a will, and no one is in any hurry to plant me in the ground. All they would inherit is debt. On the other hand I did leave stipulations to be buried wherever I drop. Middle of the street, thirty-thousand feet, the third pew in Church, President's Lawn, wherever. Afer all, everyone has to respect the dead, right?

   Never thought about this issue. I do not make money on Hubs so it would not be of any concern to forward "nothing" to a relative.

      well definitely a nurse with a good salary will not rely too much earning on hp. Same with me though I want to experience what others been telling about money on hp but for not I'm not earning also. Maybe it many years to come lols.

   Matt (the Hubster) has all of my acounts, passwords websites etc. He would let you all know. Probably via email to Hubpages Offices. I have a will set up, so the $$$ would just keep getting deposited into our joint account. This is my idea of life insurance.
   
   I'm feeling quite fine and live a very sedate life so hopefully not anytime soon.

    Years ago, but a for a brief instant in time (2 months... tops), I made about $20K a month off of online poker affiliates... I had VERY DETAILED directions for my spouse on how to keep it going.

    Funny to find this question, I was wondering myself only today.
    Not about the money. I already stated the whole of my earnings so far: $1.64. But yes, about the writings.

    If you think you are going to die, you should prepare a Will saying that your Hubpages account and all earnings should be given to your family.

    Yes I wondered something similar like,when hubbers write for a while ,earn a few bucks ,under $100 anyway ,then leave the site.
    (think of all the $2's from hundreds of people)
    
    There is maybe a clause in Adsense too ,that gives you so long to complete necessary forms ,ie tax.
    
    Free Enterprise I guess hmmm..

    well we could share out the earninbgs between us all if someone died, so if certain people start dropping like flies you know the ones who have lots of hubs and earning lots of money, then people could think there might have been a murder and write about it and then make money...

    No one may be able to get access to it all without the usernames and passwords.
    
    Jot down important details of your activities on the net and keep it in a safe place with instructions. When a prson feels his/her days are numbered, entrust it to somebody trusted.
    
    Better still, become partners with somebody very close or trusted.

    You are all so wise and sensible. this is a serious concern though. I was afraid it was one of those philosophical questions like "If a tree falls in the forest" (or, if a tree falls in the rain forest, does corporate North America care?), or "the sound of one hand clapping" (a hubber busy congratulating him/herself on a great score - like I did while I was briefly at 99 last night, LOL - just had to share that )
