I'm so cold. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
What's the weather like where you are and where are you? smile

After weeks of an inversion, producing a cold, uniformly gray sky day and night, it finally left.  We see the sun, temperatures rose a bit and it snowed.

It has gotten colder again, but without that grey, sunless existence.  I can live with that.

Southern Idaho.  As morning comes on it's around 20 degrees, but will warm up when the sun comes up.

The winters are not usually too bad (although this has been a cold one) except for those nasty inversions.  I don't understand what makes them, but they are sure depressing.

What kind of heating system is that?
Our heater/air cond. broke in 2009 (the one downstairs, thank God, the one upstairs still works.)
So we have a fireplace and a few space heaters, but I am SO cold all the time. Im in TN and it's 24 right now, but it wont warm up as much down here as I need it too. I'm ready for spring... then I'll be complaining about summer.

We have a furnace run by oil.  We try to heat by the fireplace, too, though.  It should warm up here a bit, but yeah, it is very unmotivating to be cold!

I nearly weep at how cold it has been in the east.
Our family in MA is sick of snow.  Our family in TN are shivering in their shoes.
We are rejoicing.   It's about 50 degrees and raining. We have only had two days of rain in the last 3 months.  Rain beautiful rain.
I have flannel lined jeans and long underwear for cold.  I was warmer when it was 40 and dry than 50 and wet.

Yeah, it's crazy. Droughts in the west, snow storms in the North, freezing temps in the south... I wonder what summer will bring.

Temperatures in the single digits are just wrong. I am so ready for Spring. This cold is not normal for my region in SE MO.

Chicago, IL. Weather has been consistently in the teens and single digits, and we have not seen the grass since December.
