Am I getting good traffic?

   Hi,
   
   I joined HubPages just 4 days ago, and I've already made 2 hubs. One of the hubs got 53 views and 6 comments, and the other got 20 views and 0 comments in 4 days. I wanted to know if I was getting good traffic or is it very low? If its low, then how do I increase the amount of traffic my hubs get?

      That is brilliant traffic and your hubs are of really good quality.
      
      I'm guessing a lot of your traffic to the youtube science hub may have been from your forum thread though. However still 20 views in your first 4 days on the other hub is far better than what I am achieving.
      
      Good luck and keep on writing, it takes time to build up views, I would suggest keeping writing more hubs and content before you start worrying about search engine optimisation and the such.

   It all depends on where the traffic is coming from and what your expectations are. Traffic internally from HubPages will tail off after a few days usually, while search engine (google) traffic will hopefully grow over time.
   Some people have hubs that get thousands of views daily, while many of us are happy if a hub gets into double or triple figures in a day.
   
   If you want to make money then you will need to publish enough hubs to gain a few thousand views daily.. You also need to go do some research about keywords and generating traffic - but beware - a huge amount of what you read is out of date and can actually harm your traffic...
   
   A good place to start is look at forum threads about generating traffic etc.. you will learn a lot if you spend the time to read..

      A few thousand views daily?  Really?  I have 116 hubs and am lucky to get 300 views on some days.  Just how many hubs does one have to have to accomplish this lofty goal?

         It's not a matter of how many hubs do you need - some people have individual hubs that receive thousands of views, I certainly have some that receive hundreds of views every day, along with those that only get a dozen views or so each month....
         
         If you want views you have to write about something that people are searching for; you can use the google keyword tool to see how many searches keywords/phrases get each day. If no one is searching for it then you are not going to get visitors.
         However you can almost guarantee that if a keyword has lots of searches that there will be a lot of competition in the search engine results; if there is a lot of competition then it can be almost impossible to rank your page on the first page of the results.
         What everyone is searching for are those high volume low competition keywords that are going to generate traffic. Finding them is far from easy!
