Hi there, friends! In the course of my work this morning, I came across a great article that I thought might be useful to a lot of Hubbers: 53+ Free Image Sources For Your Blog and Social Media Posts.
The blog post is geared toward image use on social media, but the free, legal-use sites listed are also great sources for writers and bloggers like us. Happy Hubbing!
Thanks for the link. But anyone using free images should still take the time to verify whether or not the images posted at some of those sites are really in the public domain or created by the person giving the permission. I operated my own website for a few years and found out some of those sites actually steal graphics which they have no right to use.
Great point, sheilamyers. It's always a good idea to double check.
Hi Christy, I'll check this out. Thanks so much.
Thank you very much for sharing this link, Christy. I've bookmarked the site. It looks like it will be very useful.
A worthy link indeed. I added it to my bookmark website as well.
And besides. I like anyone who pets dogs and is "perky".
Btw, I was talking about the author of that page, not Christy. As for Christy; I, too, lived in Long Beach and enjoy science fiction.
Whaddya know, I'm reading some Neal Stephenson right now! Well, not literally right now, but outside of work hours.
This is what I need. Free images that could help anyone working online. I guess I need to say thank you for sharing your link.
Cool list of sources. I can vouch for the "Freedigitalphotos" site mentioned in this piece, I've used stuff from them a number of times. Will have to check out some of the others when I get a chance.
Thank you for the wonderful article! I as well have had issues finding free images that were necessary for me to incorporate in my article. I will certainly utilize these sites!
How come we have to be 50+ to be allowed to use these links? That really kind of discriminates against our younger writers.
I was thinking the same thing, paradigm. But since I am over 50 by quite a bit I wasn't going to complain about it.

Hi all, this is a quick reminder that today all capsules will become full width. We originally announced this change back in July, but offered a grace period to give authors time to fix up old articles and ensure capsules would show in the correct order. There is no need to do anything; this change...

Because they might not be visible on any of the topic or subtopic pages on the niche sites even if they get views, have comments, and a score of 99. Most of my views come from Google, so it hasn't been a handicap so far as I can tell but it's a bummer.

Who thinks we should ask to reinstate a page dedicated to locating hubbers by hubber score. Beginning with 100-0.We once had such a page here that made the hubber score much more relevant, and we could at least get a chance to locate the top hubbers who most definitely deserved high praise for...
