Ok I have just started having fun with poetry. If it is not your genre give it a try. I wanted to stop writing rhyming poems. It is effortless to write such poems , but I am not sure how seriously they are taken by people who read poetry for substance. Anyway, a good way to practice writing emotional word art is to take a picture off one of the free to use sites like morquefile and write one and two word descriptions. . Try to avoid sentences. I'll post one here! I'm a naturally non rhyming poet.
Today was a wrangle
of bills unpaid and phone calls unanswered,
kids wanting cheesecake and refunds gone missing,
so I went to the pub instead.
That is good. I really like the 'wrangle' line. It is a very different way of saying dreadful day or unproductive...
Ok just of the top of my head
Why is permission needed to go to bed
It is my House
I use too much coffee
Leave empty things in the frig
Keep you from your jobless schedule
Why are you here
If I am so unappealing
disappear
Ok I almost made that not rhyme
Falling down drunk
I move through the dark kitchen
The bitch hits me with a toaster
She's crazy I tell you
Gotta get rid of those small appliances
My life depends on it
Shouldn't have slept with her sister
Cause she's crazy...crazy I tell you
Love it ! Good it was not a waffle iron!
There was a young woman from Boston, Mass.
Who stood in the ocean up to her ankles.
It doesn't rhyme.
But in 12 hours,
It will.
A trip to the ocean is planned I see. Don't let a lobster bite your toe!
Why do my poems always rhyme
No matter what I do?
Each line seems to end the same,
No matter how I try.
Rhyme just always fills my mind,
It's just the way I think.
Even when I'm writing prose,
It's back to rhyme I s...(revert).

Write a headline for a newspaper that has a funny twist or perhaps mind bending wording. A lame example would be "Postman Bites Dog!"Try to keep it within 10 words long.

Yes, finally I am doing it though my exam is not over yet. Already three hubs in three days. I will write 30 amazon hubs within 11 February, 2011. Writing first 10-15 won't be a problem as all these will be in same niche but then I would have to stretch a little I think.

Hi, I'm going to attempt a personal 30 hubs in 30 days to give me a big boost towards my 100 hubs in 2012. I think I'm going to finalise my pregnancy and food hubs and a few of my quantum physics hubs, not the highest paying hubs but I enjoy writing about them so that will form half of them, then...
