As promised here in my first HubChallenge forum post, I'm going to be using the time that we have until the official start of the 30 Hubs in 30 Days HubChallenge (on this Friday, July 24th) to help all of you publish Hubs that have the most opportunity possible.

For this first day I decided to touch on one of the most important and foundational decisions that you make when writing on HubPages, coming up with a good Hub topic:

Linky >> HubPages Tips: How to find a FANTASTIC Hub topic

I'll be posting each of these daily (or more or less) tips on our blog, so be sure to keep an eye out for them as the HubChallenge gets closer.

Also, if you have any questions about this video, please post them in here and I'll answer you as soon as I can.

I may have missed it, but how do you enable the wonder wheel when you do Google search?

Just click the 'Show options...' link on the left side of the search results and it will be an option in a list that appears:

      Click this:

It took me a few minutes to find the wheel too, but alas, I did it.  The SEO tool bar has got lots of icons...not appealing, but, like the outcome.

Thanks for the link to your article & these cool tools!

I actually prefer related searches to wonder whell. Provides the same info and it's less clunky.

      Me too!

I had never even heard of the Wonder Wheel. I also had forgotten about Google insights for search (or whatever it's called). The Wonder Wheel has opened up a whole new avenue of keyword research!

Learn something new everyday. I've never played with the wonder wheel either. Hubster is sitting here beside me, he doesn't care about the wonder wheel. Just wants to read his book.

The other day i stumbled on a page here at hubpages which had a list of potential hub topics that were in niche markets. I think it was in the FAQ somewhere - I've had a look but can't find it now sad

At the risk of sounding obtuse, I need to download Firefox in order to utilize the PR tool, right?  Have never used Firefox...

You'll love it and you can use it just for your SEO keyword work if you like and continue to use IE or whatever for the rest of your stuff if you DON'T like it (but I'm sure you will).

In my opinion Firefox is loads better but I know others prefer the other options, it's all just opinion.

Thanks, Julie-Ann!  I am excited to give it a try.  Have always used IE, but change is good, huh?  Appreciate the reply.

I'm sure these are great, but I always use real life events....my convicts and kids give me a lot of writing material!

I've been doing some investigative work and comparing the wonder wheel to individually researching key words.  Wonder wheel shoots out a good number of .5 for me, not liking that.  Would rather my related words have higher values.  I really would LOVE to use the wonder wheel, granted.  It takes MUCH less time than my extensive keyword research, but I'm just not sold on the results.  Curious what other people think.

Type in 'wonder wheel' on a Google search.  When the results come up, just above the results is the word "show options". Click on that.  A menu will pop up down the left side. Next to the last is "wonder wheel".  You're there.  Ryan shows you pictures of everything I just said.

I need help with a category for my hub having to do with personalities. How you can make a change for the better is kind of what the subject is.

Do you need help finding yourself a title?

What is the Hub actually about? Your subject seems very broad right now, so you may need to tighten it up a bit if at all possible.
