   There ARE some things that are just beyond illogical.  Sadly, such people DO exist in this postmodern 21st century.  What is YOUR take on this?

         It is beyond sad, it is downright inanely illogical to say the least.  Stephen Hawkings is a genius who has contributed and elevated society.  Kirk Cameron is on his last celebrity leg, going beyond his 15 minutes of fame, promoting movies that can be deemed quite nonsensical.

            If I got the gist of that nonsense correctly, the claim is that for lots of atheists it is too laborious and difficult to understand what happened so a god is the only answer left.  The garbage that another universe populated with a single intelligent creature is simpler than understanding our own universe first is just that; garbage.  GIGO

   Ken Ham, like many others, has attempted to interpret the Bible simply by reading the words that are written. His simple minded conclusions reveal this to be true.The Bible, like many other philosophical,theological,metaphysical, and poetic documents, reveals truth at various levels. What a man "sees" when reading the Bible is dependent on his intellect, and the condition of his heart. This is what separates the prophet from the common man, as he/she commonly experiences visions that are "unlocked" by various combinations of words, as in a cryptographic key.
   
   Ken Ham is related to the Pilgrims, and the good folks of Salem Massachusetts, who looked at the image of God, but only saw "savages" to rape, and to plunder, and witches to burn. To paraphrase Bon Jovi, " Ken Ham Gives God ...  A Bad Name!"

      Very nice. Ken Ham has misguided enthusiasm that feeds his own ego. And indeed, he gives God a bad name.
      
      I wonder how many like him are funded by the thugs in Wall Street to fan the flames of division. Giving God a bad name would suit their purposes just fine. They follow Greed, not God.

   The flaw is in Ego.
   
   Ken Ham has a big Ego. He doesn't know that Ego is what Christ condemned. Oops! By following his own ego, he is not following Christ. How embarrassing.
   
   When Ken Ham asked his audience who they would believe, science or God, they naturally said, "God." But the question is corrupted by a false dichotomy. The problem is not between science and God, but between science and Ken Ham and his egoistic interpretation of scripture. Again, oops!
   
   Science and God get along just fine. They study the products of His creation and do a great job of it, for the most part.
   
   But even scientists have egos and ego is an equal-opportunity corrupter. One scientist at a Texas university said that he would not believe the outrageous dates of early man in Valsequillo, Mexico no matter what the evidence! He would rather believe dogma to evidence. That's ego for you.
   
   Other scientists in North American anthropology for years suffered the elite's fetish for "Clovis First" dogma. Anyone who dared dig below the Clovis horizon was ridiculed. Science by intimidation? How childish. How primitive and illiterate!
   
   So, illiteracy is not just a religious thing. It's an ego thing.
   
   And this is the flaw of humanity of which Rad Man spoke.
   
   The founders of the world's great religions each had a bead on getting rid of ego. But those who followed were full of ego and corrupted the teachings. Perhaps the Western religions were the ones to suffer the most. Ego is exceptionally big in the West.
