Amazon Associates Totals Zeroed?

Every day (or almost every day), I go on to my Amazon Associates account to check stats. Today, I saw my income for the month to date had reduced from when I checked it yesterday. Thinking it was due perhaps to returns or simply a "blip", I went on a few times through the day and see it has now zeroed out - as has last month's!

Is anyone else seeing this or has something horrific happened/been done to my account?

      This is your personal account?

Yes, Paul. The one I've used on HP and my blogs without trouble since 2007. The totals slowly reduced over the day.

I have been on HubPages for almost four years and in all of the posting of Amazon products . . .My account has ZERO bucks in it.
I say if they can live with it. I can live without it.
The law of averages says that in all of this time ONE person should have bought one thing. That is  all I am saying, for it does no good to complain to anyone at HP or Amazon.

I too have zero dollars in my Amazon account. I thought I was the only one.

I just checked my Hub Pages account and all is well for this month, as well as record of sales since I changed over to Hub Pages Amazon program.

Sorry, should have perhaps been clearer. This is my account with Amazon. Not through my HP account.

My Amazon Associates account has been strange for the last few days. As of now, my earnings are also zeroed out.

I hope you know what I mean when I say I'm relieved to hear it, David... Sounds then as though it may be a fault at their end... Fingers crossed for both our sakes!

There's a thread on the Amazon Associates discussion board.  It is apparently a glitch that is affecting lots (maybe all) accounts.  Amazon is aware and will probably have it fixed in a few days.

I tried to find something referring to it but couldn't. Maybe it's came up since I last checked. Thanks, calculus-geometry - a mind very much put at ease...

Thanks for this, Paul. Huge relief. I've just this minute checked my Amazon account and everything appears to have been restored to normal.

Thank god I found this thread. I also looked for Amazon associates forums but did not find any. As of now, my totals are also zeroed out. But yes, as you mentioned, the earnings were first reduced. Hope it gets updated today.

By the way, I just checked and although the total amount is zeroed on earnings, if you look at the report for any time period, including today and the month, all sales are there and credited. Just the totals are missing.

I just checked my personal Amazon associates reports.  I made a sale, but earned nothing.  I thought it was because it being a third-party sale.  I contacted them.  Reports are being updated.  Apparently, Amazon is having problems and they are working on it.

Strangely enough, that actually happened to me I think yesterday, but with the HEP program. But, I think and this is a guess...a lot of my views/impressions weren't really counted as impressions/views I noticed. Since they were not counted as views/impressions they did not count towards my earnings. I started noticing lately, that they "trimmed" the uncounted views out and just had been showing me the views that I will be earning from. Well, at least that's what it looks like. I could be wrong.smile I looked at my Google Analysis and there were some "drop offs" (I guess that's people who have clicked my link, but dropped off before the page loaded) Anyway, I don't know, it's just a guess.

I chatted with them.  I was told reports were being updated and they are working on it.  The link Paul gave us, shows there is a ton of people having problems.  Apparently, reports being updated means we have an issue we are working on.

I have the same problem with my blog - it's Amazon related.

Check your Amazon accounts. I just checked mine. The earnings that were missing on mine are now there.

It's not there yet, but it's creeping back up the same way it went down

Good to see I am not the only one having issues with the Amazon. I do not think I have ever made any money from using it, but I still like to...just in case! big_smile Maybe in a few days I will be able to actually post a capsule with something in it. I was very specific to the items I wanted to show, got the numbers etc...even had the capsule search them for me, but they would not show up, nothing to choose from....hopefully things will be working better in a few days.

Cyntianne:  If you are not able to get capsules to work here the problem is HP not Amazon.  The problem with Amazon is that people saw their earnings reports go to zero when they knew they had sales or sales without commissions showing. I have been using the capsules here with no problem. Once in awhile an ASIN does not show up.  I use same ASIN on Amazon and it shows nothing. I just searched for what i wanted and there it was.  I think changes in ASIN numbers have changed since the old one does not work but the same product is still there.

Ok. Thanks!! There were two numbers to choose from when I searched my products I wanted to add to my hub but neither worked, then I tried a random search using keywords, but still nothing was working. I will keep checking it out and see what I can figure out.
