To become familiar with hub pages I put together 4 hubs while I am waiting for my lenses to move over. A couple of them were in the pink saying they needed Revision. I checked them over and make some changes by removing words that might have been to many. The next day they still needed some fixing so I did some more changing.
My Dune Buggy page showed that I used the word, sand seven times so I changed that thinking I had found the problem.
However this morning it is now in the black and says Irrevocable, which means my only choice now is to delete it.
How can I find out what is wrong with it so that I won’t make the same mistake in the future?
And I don’t see anyway to delete it.
Was there a specific violation on the hubs that need revision? If so, whatever the violation was apparently did not get fixed if the hub is now irrevocable.
In order to delete, you click the delete button at the top of the hub.
Thanks, I did find the delete button after saving an edit. There was no specific violation that needed fixing, just a general list of what could be the problem. My other hubs fixed up with removing some over used words so thought this would be the problem here too. So I don’t know what the matter is and sure would like to avoid it in the future if only I can find out.

Elsie, just looking at one of your two hubs showing live now on your profile: I think you are putting way too many products in for too little text. The Inflatable snow globes one has what looks like 10 products for just over 500 words? That might make the minimum cut off but you've also got lots of products grouped together, without additional text, which is a bit of a no-no.
I'd follow the style tips closely that show up when you are putting together your first few hubs; that will give you the basics on what is and isn't considered good hub creation basics. I also don't think HP likes in general what are simply "Sales pages" without real information and context to back up the products you want to promote.
Thanks for your help, I will check them over. I have learned that you can have one ad per 50 words and this one is ok on that.
Squidoo had us put a lot of ads on our page with the cut off for Amazon being 20 and then you can add more eBay after that. Hub seems pretty skimpy in comparison.
I figured that if the hubs were featured that the couple of ads on the bottom were acceptable.
I think so also. I would get rid of a few of the product capsules, especially grouped together which HP doesn't encourage. I don't know if you can, but if possible, try to find the same or similar product you have shown in the photo capsules, such as the bear inflatable, and place it directly under the photo.

How many times do you edit an idled Hub before deleting it? Or do you keep it idled so that links to it are still good? Also, for what reasons do you either leave it idled or delete it or still try to fix it? I have one Hub which I've edited a few times, and this last time after I edited it, it...

Is there a way to get rid of unwanted traffic sites that attach a link to our hubs without our knowledge? I try to individually monitor my hubs for suspicious traffic and have written two letters to the offender who has sent me 8 visits on one hub this week. Now HubPages has marked my hub with a...

Had never done a “sales” hub before so decided to try. Have tweaked and tweaked this hub but it still keeps on being not featured due to quality. Getting a little T’d . . . http://geminifox.hubpages.com/hub/Green … t-Friendly- Have every single one of the “goal” (attributes) boxes ticked off...

Some people say you should never, ever delete a hub...only edit it and such. What makes you just completely trash your own hubs?
