I know a lot of the Squidoo transfers will be doing massive editing over the next few months, so I wanted to remind everyone that if you accidentally click on a link or Amazon product while editing, it will take you away from the page. When you hit "back" the workshop will reload and you will have lost everything you were working on. Be careful guys!

ACTUALLY scratch that. It will APPEAR as though you've lost your edits, but if you go back to your account page and hit edit again (or simply refresh the page), you should see all your edits. If you just hit the back button though, you'll have to start over... which is a huge pain in the butt.

Happened to me yesterday when I went to preview my changes after having worked on my page for about an hour.  Mini heart attack!  Thankfully, when I refreshed, there it all was again.  Phew...  Since then, this has happened about four times but I'm much calmer about it now smile

Thanks. I already have enough ways to lose content. I don't need another. This will help save time and avoid frustration.

Discovered this yesterday while editing a hub.   Gave me a big fright until I went back to editing and found the changes were there.

I've been there, but from something other than clicking the Amazon link. Scary moment, but refresh did the trick.

I am editing my first page and yep I had clicked over to Zazzle and sure enough the links I had deleted were still there.  Since this is all new I just kept clicking until I got the links deleted again, but then the pictures disappeared?

Such fun to be a newbie all over again.....NOT smile
