No...STDs are not public record! That'd be like releasing the names of everyone with Swine Flu...not going to happen, unless illegally done.

I hope this site is fake.

it might be those who infected someone and that infected person publicized it....

Trust me, I work in the medical field and there is NOTHING that is public record. Its a very serious thing that everything is kept confidential.

I just read the legal information sections. Rolls eyes. Either he has a terrible attorney or the owner/s think they are incredibly clever individuals. Pleaseeeeeeeeee.

There are only so many loopholes that these guys can use. I have a precedent for them to check out, how about media websites that have been shut down for hosting user-submitted links to illegally distributed copyright movies, music, etc?

"It is possible for inaccurate information to be submitted for reasons including, but not necessarily limited to the following; a false positive (a test resulting in a diagnosis of a sexually transmitted disease when in fact the person does not have the disease), a fabrication by the person inserting the data, a false rumor, an inaccurate published source, or a false statement by a third party. Since false listings are possible this site does not assert that any person listed does in fact have a sexually transmitted disease or that statements made about them are true."

Could it be that someone contracted a STI and posted the person whom they possibly contracted it from? Sure, I guess. But could it be someone who is angry and wants to post a completely false accusation, or isn't sure at all, definitely. The website even acknowledges that. No medical basis. No fact. No good.
