I say big picture, encouraging. Small picture (personal stats) not a similar trend. Almost inversely related.
In a way, that's good. My scores have continued to steadily plummet since August. A couple of new and quality hubs (imho), with initially reflective scores, started to undo the demotivating impact of the plummet.
But luckily the plummeting has regained it's momentum, keeping me from getting sucked back into hub writing when my kids, health, and home need me more.
Because try as I may to no care about scores, they exist (and I am too new for making money here), therefore I care.
So for now, my personal traffic is down, my scores are falling even farther below what I can accept as rational or acceptable, but the bigger picture looks good. For me that is good because at the every least, I intend to spend more time and energy here if some combination of the following occurs:
1. A scoring algorithm with merit and logic evolves over time, or
2. The current one eventually is explained in a reasonable manner, or
3. Traffic once again negates the demotivating impact of plummeting scores, or
4. I have more time for writing and other priorities, or
5. I just feel so inclined.
I say... I need someone smarter than me to 'splain what I'm looking at. Haha. I guess it's saying that traffic to HP is "up?"
Yep. And unless Google suddenly gets perturbed about something, it should continue to do so.

Anyone else feeling discouraged to keep writing here due to plummeting hub scores?I know they shouldnt matter, but I do take it personally when I see my hub scores plummet overnight. I know a lot of you have noticed this happening recently and I was curious if it was detering others from continuing...

I have tried everything. From updating the pieces to publishing new, in-depth articles, nothing seems to have much impact on the traffic.I csnt help but wonder if the ramped up competition and intrisive ads are to blame here. Who'd want to go through the whole article when it's riddled with ads...

First, some background. I don't know much about what makes hubs successful or not. My scores mystify me- some of my favorite hubs that I think I would personally gravitate towards have low scores whereas others I thought were a bit obscure have high scores. My most successful hub is...

I've been keeping an eye on Paired Life's domain authority and traffic on SEM Rush. You are welcome to check yourself. The domain authority went from 70 a year ago down to 58. The traffic stream went from 1.1 million in Oct of 2021 down to 699,000 now and dropping like a led balloon. Something is...

I was getting great traffic until Panda hit in 2011 and my traffic took a nosedive. The last six months or so my traffic was increasing nicely. I was excited to work on HP again. However, the last week or so I lost it all and now am sitting back at my lows.Oh well, it...

After the sub domain switch, it took about a week, but my traffic was up to pre-panda. Yesterday, I was at close to 4K daily visitors. Today, my daily visitor stats are showing only 2k with lots of blue arrows. Not sure what is going on, but it is very discouraging. Is anyone else...
