    Hi,
Would it be possible to have the ability to put an image capsule beside
    a poll capsule, please?

I've been editing my imported lenses, and although I can put a text
image next to a poll capsule, I have so far been unable to get an
    image capsule there.

This would be useful to many of us, I believe.   Thanks for considering
    this suggestion.

I'd say HubPages is very, very unlikely to take up this suggestion, because they are currently suggesting we make ALL our capsules full-width.

The reason for that is because most of HubPages' traffic now comes from mobile users.   HubPages doesn't have a proper "mobile" display - all they've done is make all the capsules default to full-width when someone views them on a mobile device.  So they are now saying, why bother using half-width capsules, make them all full-width in the first place.  So you can imagine, they're not going to bother paying programmers to make half-width capsules sit side-by-side!

Personally, I like my Hubs to look good on large monitors too, so I'm still using half-width capsules.  That works fine - the only thing you have to consider is that a half-width capsule will move ABOVE the paragraph its related to, not below.   In some cases that may look peculiar so you have to consider it in your design.

Thanks for your response, Marisa.   I wasn't aware that HP would like us to make all
our capsules full-width.     It does seem odd though, that text and poll capsules will
sit next to each other, but photo and poll won't.

I'll be editing quite a few imported hubs in the next weeks, so it's useful to know
where a half-width capsule will move.

Thanks again, but I'd still like the photo and elated poll to sit side by side.  :-)

Yes, I would very much like this too, please.  It means that the poll and photo take up much less room on a page than having them underneath each other

Yes, and often the photo full-width is just too large and in-your-face.

I too would like the possibility to put a photo next to a Poll.
I agree with Virginia Allen that quite often the full width blows into your face. I solve that by putting a smaller image on a wider wide background before uploading it.

Making all capsules go page wide will give hubs a very boring layout in my opinion.

I like the 'newspaper' style, but wish we could place photos to the left too.

Agreed. I didn't realize we couldn't put photos alongside polls. I'd very much like this option.

I had no idea HP didn't want us to use side by side capsules. IMO pages look lousy on a computer withOUT side by side capsules.
