While reviewing my hubs trying to choose one to edit, I discovered that one of my hub URLs has a new ending that I never noticed before.
    http:// pegcole17.hubpages.com/ hub/Are-You-A-Safe-Driver-Take-this-Quick-Quiz-to-Find-Out#mod_24388541
Can anyone tell me what this means? #mod_24388541

The hub is featured but has taken a real dive in score recently. Does this have to do with a moderator?
    Thanks for helping.

It simply sends the readers straight to the quiz capsule, which has id="mod_24388541".

Try adding #video_956628 at the end, for example. This should make your browser jump to the "Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf" video.

This seems relevant (not my website):

        Thank you Carny,
Relache has kindly pointed out my misguided concerns.
It has to do with the module in the hub. I am definitely technically challenged.

This is weird:  If you copy and use entire URL with the #mod_24388541  you get nothing

I tried it again without the weird ending and got page not found
Then tried it again, and the URL simply takes you to a search page with you hubs listed  on it.

If you copy the url as is above and move pegcole closer to the //, you get this: http://pegcole17.hubpages.com/%20hub/Ar … d_24388541 in the search bar

If you click on your hub title in your profile it works.  If you copy the URL that comes up from the actual hub while it is showing, and use it in search engine again, the hub comes up.

Too many crazy things going on.

      Thanks LindaSmith1,
I had put some spaces in the link to avoid it being a real link here in the forums. (No self promo) The link doesn't follow the standard format for my other URLs which is why I questioned it. Also the fact that the score tanked recently after months of being average, I was curious. I'll contact the Team and see what's up.

If you leave off the #mod_24388541, your hub comes up at the top of the search page. That is really strange. All I can think of is a moderator/editor left her ID on the end of the URL after it was edited. Are you in the HubPro, Peg?

No, Phyllis. I opted out. I was wondering if it had been moderated by mturk or whatever. Anyway, that link doesn't seem right to me.

Did you check the stats on that hub, Peg?

That's an anchor link to a specific capsule in the Hub. The way Peg typed it in her original post, the link is broken, which is why is doesn't work.

If an editor edits a Hub, it's indicated on your dash, but then again, they are supposed to contact you too.

Also Peg, that was awesome how you just posted stats which makes your post right before this one violate both the AdSense TOS and the HubPages TOS simultaneously.

That makes sense, Relache. I must have been sitting on a module when I copied the URL. (D'oh)
And, yes, I did put spaces in the URL so it wouldn't be a link here in the forums. I should have mentioned to take out the spaces.hmm
        Thank you.

Thanks again, Relache, for the heads up. I deleted that violating post. I do not want to violate the TOS in any sense of the word. Guess I should shut down for the day, the way its going.
        Again, thank you.
