Do Hubsters need a better way to Invite other hubsters to read their threads?
If you want more readers, it's better to go after internet users in general, not just contributors to this site. You can reach more readers by promoting your hubs on social media, and by writing on topics that people frequently Google.
The best way to get views from other hubbers is to comment on other people's hubs and participate in the forums and Q&A. But if most of your readers are only other hubbers, you won't make much money here because you won't get that many views. I guess it depends on what your goal is. Some people join HP just to mingle with other users.
May I respectfully disagree? I think it depends on your niche. My niche is gardening, which is a popular topic on Pinterest. The more hubbers that read and pin my hubs, the more visitors I get from Pinterest. That's where I make my money, from Pinterest. So I make an effort to court readers both on HP and on social media.
I think what is more important is whether said hubbers
want such an invitation, if they do they have the option to follow you.
Actually I think you just agreed, not disagreed. CG's point was that it's far more important to work on attracting readers from outside HubPages, which is exactly what you do.
I'm happy with the current setup, but it depends what your goal is. If your goal is to earn income from your Hubs, that won't happen until at least 80% of your visitors come from outside HubPages. So while the HubPages community is great for motivation and support, it shouldn't be part of your business plan.
Hubber LiveWithRichard proved that recently. He started a new account and didn't promote it within HubPages at all - no forum posts, no comments, no following, no Q&A, nothing. That account is now doing better than his original account.

So I'm replying to a comment on my hub and upon scrolling through the hub (I always check for errors or how I can improve), I see the related hubs section. There are five hubs there including one of mine. What immediately got my attention is that the other four hubs has "editors choice"...

Just wondering what sites Hubbers use to promote their articles? I have seen a lot of changes over the years with some sites no longer allowing links in forums or comments, and some article sharing sites just going away. I primarily use Facebook and Twitter these days to share my...

The Dengarden Pinterest account apparently gets 10 million monthly views, but there's been no new pins for a year. I presume it's because there's no one with the time to do this task. Could some new pins be added? Owlcation gets 3.8 million. I haven't checked any of the other sites.

I am always surprised that guest blogging is never discussed on HubPages. We all know it's important to have backlinks pointing to our Hubs and websites. We also know that Google is working hard to detect and devalue links which are artificially created - things like directory...
