It is just an Infobarrel article. Anyone can write there, so I wouldn't trust the info, especially since a few of her facts aren't accurate.

Hubpages has been hit by Panda before and they always figure out the problem and come out of it.

I've been following the InfoBarrel forum dialogue about a hub review of InfoBarrel by someone here.
The woman who wrote the article you referenced (I followed the link within the text) was quite vocal in that forum which got rather nasty to the point of name calling.
I write on both sites and many other writers here do also. There's no need for the animosity as far as I see it. The two sites are worlds apart in terms of content, readership and topics.

LMFAO Don't believe a word she writes.

She lives in her own world half the time...

It's a load of rubbish.   If you follow the link in that article, you'll get to an article which is based on a total misapprehension - that HubPages keeps your content after you delete your account.

They do keep a copy for a period of time in case they get an enquiry (e.g. for copyright purposes) but they do NOT continue to display it on HubPages.  I can only assume the article writer couldn't work out how to delete her account properly.

Forgot to mention, her next article is most likely going to be about this thread with print screen shots of what each person said about her stupidity. I'm not even joking.

That's all she ever did on Squidoo. Writing hate articles about other lensmasters.

I, and I'm sure MANY others are sick of all the drama and completely pointless scenarios she used to blabber about 24/7..

Just can't believe she's started AGAIN. hmm

The only thing in question is the health of the person who wrote that article - and - why anyone would send more traffic to the article.

I think it is a piece of garbage getting a few lucky views through rumour and speculation.

It's a dirty trick. It's time for fun and no games in the feed on the site.

Infobarrel would be the "pot" in this scenario.

Peg, I think I know whom you're referring to, I had a little debate with her as well when I stated in the InfoBarrel forum that HubPages was a better place to earn, in my opinion.  Then she just unloaded all her qualms about HP.

Hi Michael, It does seem as if there are some hard feelings there.

Yup, she's a ex-squidooer with an axe to grind!  Her article on HubPages is scathing.

Why the live link?  I haven't read it, but I see no reason to give the article traffic from HP if she's bashing the site.  Just my 2 cents.  hmm

I thought of this also before clicking it.  I'm proud of myself for thinking of it and for resisting the temptation---yay me!  And also you : )

    Also, she likes cats.

Did you ever notice how people who prefer cats over dogs tend to be more hateful and bitter?  Keep in mind evil masterminds always prefer stroking a cat.

      Hitler hated cats!  :-)

    I wouldn't technically regard Hitler as a mastermind--just a wildly misguided Christian.

That remark about Hitler hating cats was said a little tongue in cheek, Michael.

      Also I'm a cat person, but don't think I'm that hateful!  :-)

I read the article, which was very vague, and followed the link to the actual article which lists her grievances.  Most of it has to do with the transfer of lenses to HubPages.  Apparently she wants HubPages to remove all of the articles, and doesn't realize that she can delete them herself.  I think she also felt coerced into signing up to HubPages to get her last Squidoo payment.
