   Got a kick out of this and just thought I'd share.  Every once in awhile, I get requests to answer questions for journalists but this is the first time I've actually had an article written up.   I wrote about my pagophagia experience and after finding my story here, I was asked for an interview.  I am really hoping it helps people to get checked if they are ice chewers.

      Hi Cary - I am so excited for you, as I have never known anyone who achieved such a feat. Cosmopolitan is so popular, and I am sure the story will help addicted folks. Chewing ice does sound bad for your teeth, especially, so congrats on your story and for kicking the habit. Good luck.

            I had one situation where I was pretty sure I was pregnant and miscarried out of my own sheer force of will before it went beyond a few days...but no way to prove it.

   Congrats! I was an ice chewer in my younger years.  I don't know why I stopped. Maybe it was the taste of our water today!

   I was never an ice chewer, but I have friends that are!  One friend in particular chewed ice through each of her pregnancies..

       Not really, it just means the article ranks well on Google -that's probably where they found it.

          Well, it means they read at least one Hubpage   Marissa is correct though.  With the keyword 'pagophagia', my page comes up fourth on a Google search.  It does fairly well with Google but, really, how many people are searching for pagophagia
