Traffic from foreign countries pays just the same as traffic from our own country of residence. Curious question since I am obviously based in the USA and celebrate that fact, what are the top two geographic sources for the traffic to your hubs?
For me, number one is Google USA, the second and rising star for me (and this is recently) is Saudi Arabia.
Your thoughts? What do you predict for the future of our reader traffic?
The US, UK ,Canada and Australia are my top sources, The US making up 50% approx of traffic.
The population of China is nearly 1.4 billion. It would be a nice if a translated version of articles could somehow be made available and marketed to all those potential viewers. Would it even be possible to pin articles on their Pinterest clone sites somehow? (If we could understand Mandarin!)
Mine's US and Canada. However, I have to disagree with your statement that traffic from foreign countries pays just the same as the traffic from the country you reside in. That's not sure. Traffic from Asian countries pays far less than from traffic like US, Canada and UK because they don't convert for the advertiser.
India and Pakistan's traffic is growing on my hubs at this time. I would still prefer to have US, UK, Canada and Australian traffic though
I agree, advertisers pay more for US/UK/CA/AU/AZ etc traffic, the more affluent the country, the better the ROI for the advertiser.
This is very important information. With the world being global, the ramifications for online revenue needs these important points highlighted. Thank you!
The biggest percentage of my traffic comes from the U.S., GB, Canada, and Australia. I am based in Asia right now, not for long, but traffic here hardly go beyond what I get in the U.S. I get good traffic from Stumble Upon as well not just Google.
Hi Aesta1,
That is fascinating. I hope you take HubPages with you wherever you might travel. I will have to check out Stumble Upon - I did when I first started but I need to revisit that site and perhaps devote more effort - great tip. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for this forum topic. My traffic is mostly through Google.com ( co.za U.S., GB, Canada, and Australia ) and my blog seems to bring in traffic and so does Pinterest and Facebook. I'm in South Africa and I now see that hardly any other browsers find me? Why would that be?

If so, where? And why? Permanently or just for a while?I would seriously consider living in New Zealand, if they let me in, potentially permanently.I would like to live in the US, Canada and Australia for a year a piece. In other words I would have no interest in a permanent visa, but I would like...

Hi hubbersI have written two hubs with very high search volume keywords and I have chosen those keywords which had least competition. Its been 3 weeks but there has been no traffic at all from any search engine. Please share reasons why this is happening and solutions to resolve this problem.
